i have an original 2017 bottle, prob the same exact juice as you because i think it came out late into the year in 2017. Im starting to think its my favorite creed. Erolfa is up there too. clove is one of my favorite notes so this is a good one
Ha, Creed does Old Spice, yes! I really like my bottle and can't wait for your full review. I don't get so much as a hint of tonka bean in the base or anywhere else of this one.
@@RichMitch ok so thats good news because i love the smell of the new batches but the amberwoody drydown i just cant stand, so i if those old ones are even better AND without amberwoods its lovely news😍
Great stuff, I went through a sample and always told myself I would have to purchase a bottle, but alas something else always took precedence,as is the way of things lol ,but good on ya you got your prize. Enjoy Rich 🙏✌️👍
Have loved this for a few years now and i really don’t understand the hate i think it’s fantastic. Oh & i don’t really get the comparrison to old spice…..the name & the blurb are fuckin shite though 😂
Separate the art from the artist. Hmmm how long has this been in the common vernacular? A long time and I still dont know where I fall. Making decisions is hard.
To be fair to creed they don't release many new fragrances especially compared to other niche houses so I remember looking forward to this when it first came out I couldn't wait to try it in John Lewis & I remember being so disappointed I was only 24 & I think it was to mature for me. Having said that I appreciate it abit more now still don't like the opening but the drydown is really nice
Love it Rich its a 2018 batch... I reviewed this on the channel and it's one of my favorite "modern" Creeds, well done 🐏🦆
Thanks man, I'm happy to finally have it. Probably wear it tomorrow 🐏🦆
Rich looks like the name of this fragrance !
Wear that fougere brother, you are our favourite Viking !
Scent Of The Day :
Puredistance - M
My Favorite Creed. It’s a mix between modern and old school fougere. Very Spicy and Minty Fragrance. And it is one of the longer lasting Creeds
I really love it too!
This is absolutely fantastic.
I enjoy Viking. It’s a good thing. I got a large decant for an extremely low price
Bravo Andy !
Well done mate!
Mine is a batch I’m still testing it . The dry down remind me of encore noir sport but smoother …I will still test it more
@@nahdi let me know how you like it
@@RichMitchI will
Also own a 2018 batch Viking, love it!!
my very first batch bottle from 2017 performed exactly the same as my new 2023 one -> shite. but i love it 😁 and the 2023 juice is dark as well
Good info, performance has been good on my hand and I think I'll wear it tomorrow!

Bois du Portugal for me. I think creed make some great perfumes. The rest of the brand is bullshit but the actual scents, fantastic
One of my favourites along with OV, Royal Mayfair and GIT
I'm not sure what my favourite is 🤔
Gotta try Creeds, this one seems quite promising, possibly a good Fathers Day gift
Yeah I'd wear it if I was your dad

I'm looking forward to spending more time with it!
This is really nice and also strong. Did you notice darkness of the juice, compared to the other Creed fragrances?
Yes absolutely, I wonder what it is
DAAAAMN im jealous! It's been on my to buy list for so loooong.
Mine too!
and do you get any amber woods in the drydonw of this batch? because recently I tried newer batches and they had shit ton of amber woods
@@tymonsenr6964 no absolutely nothing, thank god

This was my SOTD...fantastic scent
It is fantastic!
Nice. How can you identify an older bottle/batch buying from a retailer?
Ask for the batch code

It's been a long time coming mate! Thank you
Nice one to add to the collection. I tried it when it came out and I still have some left in a decant. I wonder how it's fairing today.
Go try it and let me know

I think the hate was because it wasn't aventus, to be honest
Separate the art from the artist. Hmmm how long has this been in the common vernacular? A long time and I still dont know where I fall. Making decisions is hard.
I hate making decisions!
Who created Viking? Nobody knows. Perhaps Julien Rasquinet or Jean-Christophe Hérault?.
Good question, I'd like to know too
All of this is almost certainly untrue 😂
🤣
Scents of south jersey doesn’t like this one.says it smells like his grandmas bathroom full of potpourri
@@Bettypeter-gm8ny I do like it, doesn't smell like that to me
