- Hi, today I'm making a hand made card with a cherry blossom design. This easy acrylic painting for beginners is super simple to do in only a few minutes!
Just follow the easy step by step guide to create your own cherry blossom branch. I used acrylic paper, but you could also paint this onto canvas or board.
Hand made cards make a great gift and add a real personal touch. Cherry blossom is such a lovely design and easy to paint with acrylic paints by following the simple guide.

I'm new to painting and so far only used watercolour paints. Been given a set of acrylics and love your tutorial. I have no idea what size of brushes to use, which sizes did you use please.
Hi, thanks for watching. For the cherry blossoms I used a small filbert (size4) a small round brush and also a liner would help if you have one. I find filberts good for petals, as they have a curved edge, but really just find brushes that you are comfortable with. 😊
