For the coke one, try doing the slime first, then the coke and mentos. That might make it work better. Also shake the coke.

Slime idea it’s called Magic Fairy Tea and it’s a lavender jelly slime with a clay mug and a little container of purple clear slime to be the tea that you can put inside the mug. I hope u like the idea!

For anyone curious why the mentos and coke experiment didn't work, here's why!
So, the reason coke and mentos fizz is because the mentos are (on a microscopic level) rough. See, the way drinks get bubbles is through dissolving Carbon Dioxide (CO2) into a liquid. Usually it's kept under pressure so it stays trapped in the liquid, but once you open up a bottle or can, the CO2 immediately tries to escape - creating bubbles! That's why if you leave soda out it goes flat - all the bubbles have escaped.
Now, this ties into mentos being rough because the rough surface makes it easier for the bubbles to break by helping free it from the liquid holding it in place. It's not a chemical reaction like baking soda and vinegar, but rather a physical reaction! It's more tearing apart the bonds. The amount of bubbles is also determined by how fast the mentos drop - faster means more bubbles!
Anyway, that's a fun science lesson for all of you.
