Reactions have been pouring in from across the world over the "assassination attempt" on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. World leaders and entrepreneurs have expressed their solidarity and shock on social media. From Europe to South America and Asia, world leaders speak out against political violence following a shooting that wounded the former US president. Trump was injured in a shooting on Saturday that pierced Trump’s right ear and killed one bystander. Two other spectators were critically wounded. The incident marks a dramatic juncture in the race to the White House just months ahead of the presidential polls.

North Korea is also officially called the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and in practice is neither a democracy or a republic, the words republic and democracy get interchanged a lot but personally I don't really care, my country is also officially a republic but the word democracy is used all the time, UK is also officially a constitutional monarchy but they also use the word democracy all the time

As an American, I will never forget where I was. I was at my desk on the phone with my sister when my brother came in and said out loud Donald Trump has been shot. My initial shock was I thought he was dead I watched it over and over and realized he was only seconds away from taking the bullet into the head, but that slight turn within a millisecond saved Donald Trump’s life ☦️
