Have you added these workouts to the workouts available on Zwift? If so where would we find them? Would be easier rather than the hassle of trying to create our own. Great vid btw looking forward to your exploits on the Alpe
I mostly used zwift for the ariegeoise prep. It didn't work for me I lacked the endurance for a long hard day out. I had my best ftp going in. But was a very hot day too.
What % did you ride at during the “rest” intervals for the Sweet Spot and Threshold sessions? Also, for the Over/Unders, did you do 2 x 15 min block (half hour) or 4 (1 hour)?
sly72 different price points of course but the Kickr is very impressive. Much more akin to outdoor riding. That said, the vortex is a fantastic entry level smart trainer.

If u got the best of the best for virtual indoor training it is obvious that you it'll have an impact on your perfomance
I just wish you could program tilt (climb %) into the Zwift workout as well.
The new wahoo Kickr bike has this feature.
I used Zwift and it's big mountain climb in winter 2016 to train to tackle in april Mauna Loa climb from sea level.
If weight is so important it would be interesting to compare your w/kg pre and post specific training
It would have been good to see your Alpe d'Zwift times before and after doing the training.
As well as FTP after the training. Also why not use the Ramp test for the first FTP test ?
What did you set trainer difficulty to when you did your Alpe du Zwift climb?

Rest would be at zone 2
I'm interested in some winter training, you said you trained 3 times a week, so are the other 4 days rest days or just free rides during the week?
i have a vortex too, so how was with the wahoo compare to vortex ?
