Lots of manufacturers donate products to tech schools. Not only is it good advertising and familiarize students with the item, but the tech schools give good feedback to the manufacturer.
I have the earlier version of this model. Having the screen is super nice. Those new features make me think that a family member needs a used borescope and that i need this one lol.
This is an excellent segment. I am not a machinist however in my career I've done my share.
The interesting part for me is to see what I would call the shale effect. For whatever reason I had expected to see a much more machined surface vs a bit of pitting and cratering.
This was an excellent view in what it is vs what I thought.
Thank you for sharing.
I couldn't agree more man, that shale effect is gnarly eh? haha ... great description as well
I built my AR-15 pistol on your exceptional instructional videos. Many Thanks.
Gas port look like its ready to settle down 😅😂
I want one of this style borescope now. BTW, nice BOOGEY MAN MASK!!!
Good catch
This was very generous on the part of the manufacturer. That kind of sensible marketing makes one want to check it out. Thanks for the video heads up on this product.
Thanks for the heads up, Chad. I need one of these.
I bought a rigid rod with the screen unit a few years back. Kinda got it for a single purpose but I keep finding more uses for it. Been happy with it. Planning to add a flexible camera for other purposes.
Pretty nice for a couple hundo's. I've been wanting something like this, thanks Chad.
That's a really nice scope. Now I know what my next tool will be. Thanks for posting it.
Thanks for the video.nice tool.
I use the flexible Teslong with a computer... I haven't had any problem with focus. BUT... To be honest I am only checking to make sure the barrel is good to shoot, not how perfect it is...
Much nicer focus feature then the solid rod. Might have to look into getting the new one
I've got the one that plugs into the laptop and it works great, also comes with a nice carrying case. Might look into getting this one since the external screen saves some bench space. Great video!
I'm going to grab one soon
Thank you Sir
Chad, I'd recommend researching cell phone mounts for that screen. You can find them that will clamp on a table so they're not permanent. They also have gooseneck ones so students can move the screen around.
ive been looking for a borescope im gonna have to check this out
I would like to see u do a physical on Q 2 peace bolt Carrie group and to test it out
Crazy you can see the flakes on the mirror.
I might have missed it, but how much is their new scope?
I bought one of these when they first came out. Very excited for the internal focus. However, mine quit working last week (error message camera not found). Curious to see your experience. These a great for the price and have all but replaced my Hawkeye.
I want one but they're sold out.
Have a flex - need to upgrade
It isn't out yet I guess. And I just bought another one for my shop.
I think the USB teslong scope is a much better choice as it allows you to capture, store, and send the images in high quality.
Saw these on a Brownell’s web video and the clarity on these looked great. I don’t know what could beat these at the price they’re asking for.
Looking at this model.
Any idea when the ruger batch inspecting will be released?
NEW VIDEO!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
Ordered one two days ago lol. Well I know what to expect now awesome.
How do you like the Teslong integration with iPhone or Android? Thanks for the review.
Teslong is Chinese company and these are from Chy-nah.
I'm always more careful with other peoples tools.
It’s called “student fatigue”
Only $70?! Oh man, there's gonna be a lot of ER visits this Christmas. =/
4.5" & 5" are sold out, heads up
