That White cabover is the most intriguing one here, in my opinion! The cabs on the Seagraves and Sutphens are also a bit different than the the Spartan and Pierce ones. Great video 👍🏻
Thank you! Currently, I use a Sony Handycam FDR-AX53. That's what most of the higher quality "current apparatus" clips were filmed with. The lower quality, older clips were filmed with a different camera. For editing, the title screens are made in Keynote, which is essentially Apple's version of Powerpoint, but it has some cool design features without having to spend money on Photoshop or something like that. And then the clips are edited and everything is put together in iMovie.
Amazing video! First I would say that older ones had more style, much more style, and also, rather much more those old light setups, nowadays they overdo with all the LEDs possibilities, making the truck to be instead of safer, extremely bright and difficult to make sense of where it is
Lots of beautiful equipment and fire houses! It kind of bothered me traffic was really hit or miss on giving way. Is there an improvement on that with new equipment? My family had generations of (volunteer) firefighters, and grandfather was a chief for years. It was drilled into us kids early on that - if you hear sirens - *get out of the way*.
I think warning systems have definitely improved a lot over the years, but at the same time the number of distractions has also increased, and cars have become more sound-resistant so I'm not sure how much giving way has really increased.
Do you mean Ladder 32? The newest ladder always goes to 32 because it's the busiest. The ALF is currently the spare ladder for the department and the other Spartan is assigned to another ladder company.
Unfortunately, I don't think I have enough ambulance clips to do that. I've been trying to film more ambulances lately so maybe I can do a video like this in the future.
6:42 that Seagrave Tower looks absolutely astonishing!!!! What a beautiful rig 😱😱❤️❤️!!! woooooow
This really was awesome. Super neat not only seeing the rig upgrades, but sometimes the station upgrades as well.
Thanks! Yes, this is something I've been wanting to do for a while and I plan on doing more in the future.
@@LowHudEmergency nice truck lights
Sick compilation
Thank you!
I know this is gonna sound weird to everyone, but I honestly have a soft spot for the older trucks, they're awesome, and they can still do their job.
I like the older trucks too; I always love filming them. Thanks for watching!

This was a really well put together video, nice to see the newer counterparts of these classics. Great idea and great job!
Thank you! I can't take all the credit for the idea, I saw somebody else do something similar once. But I'm glad you enjoyed!
LOVE this video! Really like to be able to see the progression in dept. apparatus but also just love seeing the older rigs in action!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed!

What was the siren at 4:36 ? The wail not the Q
That's a Whelen tone; I believe they call that the "Alternate Wail."
