At 5:20 he got so lucky!!! I'm glad he kept control, that was extremely close, usually any impact is a deadly impact at those speeds.

@@dalesfailssagaofasuslord783 Eventually when I’m doing this I’m going to maybe keep a little more margin for error because even the best of the best make tiny mistakes that can cost them their life. It’ll never be safe but you can definitely do some risk management.

That is the dream of my life but in Cuba there is no BASE jump or base jumpers, continue with those great videos .. they are my inspiration ... I only have 30 jumps for obvious reasons ... greetings from Cuba a Fan of your work and addicted to Skydive..
Hi Ronny, thanks for the nice comment :). Keep making those skydives and keep your passion alive! Once you get your numbers and experience up you should take a BASE course! I recommend Apex BASE with Jimmy & Marta in the US (th-cam.com/users/ApexBASETodd) or Learn To BASE Jump with Douggs & Sam in Europe (th-cam.com/users/douggsloosedude).
All four mentioned above are friends, so be sure to tell them I suggested it if you end up at one of their courses :).

That was such a good jump. One of my all time favorites! That was "Brevent" in Chamonix. Very steep and very fast lines there, which is why you saw what you saw :).
@@LukeHively brevent is such an amazing area, I’ve never been but I’ve seen a lot of great lines jumped on you tube. I believe the rockstar line is in brevent? Such a gnarly line.

Whenever u do jumps like this do you go back up and jump again in the same day? Or is it just a once a day kind of thing??
hopefully signing up for training this summer to do this! just can't find a training location in CO., odd being we're right here in the rockies! ARGH!
Might have to do with the unfortunate fact that BASE jumping is illegal in all U.S. national parks which means that not all but most accessible cliffs and mountains are off limits. I wonder if there is anything out in Moab, Utah as I've heard a lot of people go there for BASE jumping so maybe there is a wingsuit BASE community that you can get in touch with to help you out.

That's awesome, Sam, thanks for the comment. Glad you liked it better than 3 as well! I felt like it was a hard one to top, but it was a goal of mine for sure :). At 5:20 I clipped a tree with my arm--cheap lesson with a lot of luck. Taught me to tone things back a few notches for sure! Great about your future in jumping, I hope next year works out for you and look forward to seeing your first videos!

I have a deepest respect for what you guys are doing. Wish I could do it to. But in all these videos I never see recognition for a person that made first suit and jumped.

Would love to see video starting (if there exists)w jumps of french dude that started it. I found only one interview w Croatian guy that's one of "fathers" of the sport. Kinda evolution of the sport video. Like when you see old NBA, best players of the time and it progreses to nawadays... Thats all.

The Croatian jumper you're talking about is Robert "Robi" Pecnik--he's awesome and is still driving our sport forward with innovation. Check out videos by "Team Need for Speed", incredible stuff, a lot of which Robi shot. I know what you mean though, there's not a many videos covering the history/evolution of our sport. Thanks again for the compliments, glad you liked what you saw. Keep in mind, you can do it, if you really want to :).
With familly, my work and place I live ( Bermuda) it would be a fortune. I jumped once out of Airplane. By the time I catch up... I'll continue following your work

how do you guy find your exit points?
The exit points in this video are, for the most part, commonly known, but for those that are less known it's typically from friends sharing the info. And I think there was only one exit point in this video where we were actually dropping rocks.

It's been far too long since I have! I regularly think of (and miss) it, and I'm still capturing stuff on video, just haven't been editing much. Unfortunately life has gotten in the way and it's become harder to set aside the time to edit. Definitely not saying I'm done with it. Hope at some point I'll get my act together and start sharing more again. In that case you'll likely see shorter form videos that require less editing from me. I'm a total self-taught amateur and terribly slow at editing!
My favorite videos are lucid dreams lucid dreams 2 lucid dreams 3 and 4!

Why did you have to cut the film up into so many pieces? If you have something good happening on film, stay with it for a while. I can't get into these chopped up extreme sports videos. I like to get into something and keep watching it.
