I've never played this game or seen anything about this .hack thing, ever. I came here randomly, by complete chance. But I have to say, this song is amazing. I am impressed.

There's one thing I found really interesting on this music.
The rythm seems to be like those medieval musics composed by a troubadour to praise heroic feats. This is really accurate, considering this is suppose to be a music for Tokyo, someone who always dreamed to be a hero as the old The World heroes.

Now that I really listen to this song, it's so freaking epic in so many ways. That kind of hymnal quality of the singing combined with the dramatic instrumentals... this is why I love LieN.

Yuki Kaijura is the vocalist for most of these songs also on other dot hack series and shows like Tsubasa chronicles etc

I'm not sure, but I think that Tokio is referred to as "The Hero of Gear", so it would make sense.
