Both of those shows were spectacular! I love Superior fireworks, you can never go wrong with their product. I’m blessed to live about 80 miles from them.
I agree with the reactions at the end. Both displays were amazing. Garrison’s experience was noticeable, but it didn’t make it a clear winner over the ladies. I commend the firing system, script building, and the way the effects matched up for the multiple stations.

Hey Garrison I want to know what do you do for work and how I can be like you really want to know how you can afford to spend this much on fireworks. I'm so jealous
It's Not just my job but it also has a lot to do with Companys willingness to work with me and trying to get sponsors. Also, I have been doing this for almost 10 years so friends contacts shows ext. come with time. Just start thinking about how I can find ways that I can get other people to either pay me to light their fireworks or give them to me to light for them for free. That's how I landed in the display world and that led to so much more.
I go with power over symmetry every time - but that's just me. I spend a ton, and I definitely match up cakes and effects, but I don't overthink it. I let it rip. I think it's more exciting, and I think the crowd likes it better. And sometimes you get combinations that look amazing that you'd never think. So, for me the first show was best. Second was also killer, but I think the timing on the cakes were off a little. That's one of the reasons I don't go the pyromusical route. It drives me nuts, and you can't control it when using cakes. If those shows were only 1500 a piece - my mind is blown. I would have guessed at least a grand more a piece. I'll also say that Superior has outstanding product - maybe the best out there when it comes to consumer. I need to figure out how to get some. The color is amazing on that stuff. Very vibrant. The lace in the first show was incredible. Awesome video. Both shows were 10/10.
The ladies definitely beat you 😂 For the majority of the show, they filled the sky and that’s more of my type of show. The attention to detail on your show was incredible as well! And the willow ending.. 😮💨😮💨😮💨
:) Oh Wow, Those ladies sure know how to make a hard hitting and long lasting finale! Barely any 'dead sky' and so much colour, noise and chaos. In my opinion, the ladies have it #1! You're right, there need to be more females in the pyro industry. And you've given a couple of them the pyro bug. Nice one! Gotta watch that again, couldn't keep up with it all lol! :)
I gotta give it to the more elegant show as opposed to the more aggressive show. The longer you've been a pyro, the more you come to appreciate the unique and pretty effects over the BIG & LOUD effects.

Both shows had parts or aspects that I enjoyed. Guys, amazing job with technical difficulties, timing (though seemed off at times) and elegance, the falling leaves were amazing, the willow ending was insane, but there was ALOT of repetition and i felt a sever lack of color through the majority of the show. Girls, great color, great power, but no real elegance to alot of it, most of it felt like sky puke, I love color, I love technicality, I love a variation of effects, but most of all I want to be able to see the individual effects, the individual shots and appreciate the craftsmanship of that shot or that cake.
Both were good, but the girls killed it lol but it’s no fair. It was two against one even though you have the experience it’s only fair if you have someone else help you and do it again. 😅😅😅😅
Both were fantastic. But sorry bro, the girls kept the sky full more than you. Yours was as you say more elegant. IMHO The girls BARELY beat you out. Great show from both
Tuff one. The ladies kept the sky full and had really nice cakes with color. The guy was way more creative and had alot more cool things going on. His issues was the at times color was weak and not alot going on in the sky. I kinda lean towards guy for creativeness, but if you like the ladies more no arguments.
