- In 1986 this XJ12 ran hot and blew it's V12 engine. It has been sitting every since with no engine. It's time to give this forgotten Jaguar a new life and a new V12 engine! The engine is installed now, will it run?

This is what I enjoy actual repairs being done .
The sound of a Jag V12 trying to start is unmistakeable.
There's something special about a V12 and those who know what they are doing when working on them. It's great to have both the back story and the engineering side in these videos.
Great work! It's going to live another day.
Thanks!
Fantastic. I'm a BMW guy and have been for years, but the 5.3 V12 is possibly my favourite engine. It's just superb. I was lucky enough to own one in an XJ-S 35 years ago.
It's so important to keep these cars going. Jaguar as a company is just about dead now - for me it died years ago but their reputation was founded on these cars. All the money and engineers Mercedes had and they still couldn't beat a few clever guys in a small factory in Coventry. 😀
Another good video and a relief for sure.
The V12 Whisperer….!
Great job, sounds healthy! Thanks Adam!
Excellent progress Adam look forward to the next episode best regards AndyAllen.
Great work Adam
Thanks!
Sounds like a Spitfire starting ❤
Great progress and interesting video. Thanks so much
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Huge Success Adam!! Well done. The more you can film on this job, the better please. Loving it.
No problem , always a solution ..........situation normal ........thankyou Adam !
Nice job sounds like a race car🎉
Even though it is a 4-door, Patrick Macnee would have been proud!
Well done, it's always a good feeling when they fire up for the first time after lying dormant for so many years
It sure is
It would be nice to know your backstory. We you Jaguar trained/mechanically trained or self taught?
Nice!
Very interesting video thank you Adam.
Thanks for watching!
The firing order hoodie would appeal to me more if it said "Jaguar V12" and had a logo.
Thanks for the input
Now I know what a V-12 tractor sounds like. :-)*
Would a stand of the kind hospitals use for saline drips (to keep their prisoners from escaping) be a way to rig up an external fuel supply for early-stage engine tests?
Yay, it works!
looks like a tank engine
