It all comes down to preventive maintenance. Staying ahead of the game is a good thing. I'm looking forward to the harvest videos too. Hope all goes well this year. I had the same fear about the dogs. You know they would jump at the first thing they saw. I was relieved after you shut down the machine. I,like yourself, care alot about the pets. Thanks for the video. See you later.
Started working on my 9463 Massey head today. Which is exactly the same except 6 row. I even have some Oliver green tin to replace the one snoot. Mine has a backup strip on the auger flighting. I’ve been thinking about putting a poly liner under the auger since my floors in rough shape.
What is your favorite brand of drill bits and do you have a go to setting on your mig.? For example when you welded those nuts on busted bolts. ? Thanks for videos!
Good to be ready to go when conditions are right…nice to have some spare parts for the older equipment. G’job Ethan, take care and keep em comin🇺🇸
Ethan, good idea to get all the preventive maintenance done as much as possible. Thanks Michael
Thanks.

Love the dogs. I have to agree with you on your fear of what they could do if they saw something when the machine is running.

I thought that remote deck plate control was a fairly recent thing on the big heads. Learning things.
That's a good looking ear of corn Ethan
Thanks.
I remember when corn was around $3.50 & soybeans were around $8.50 & we thought those were good prices.
For 98 day corn, that's fairly respectable. I'll be another 2 weeks before I can harvest here.
It will be October here.

ARXXX abrasion resistant rod is out there.
The Mild steel shoe lasted 40 years. The weld is already harder than the original metal. No need to spent extra money for hard surface rod.
I seen a lot of corn about to go in Jonesville
Ready to go ethan
Hopefully
How’s the deer repellent working. You sprayed
What type of work are you doing at Helena? Sales?
If you can't get the straps for your door look for door straps for Jeep doors. I know they make them, not sure if they will fit your application.
42:25 You mean if I can’t find a door strap like that one?
@@Oliver66FarmBoyMy bad, posted before I finished watching. Next time I'll just keep my mouth shut and let you figure it out 👍
