Thank you Tom, always appreciate your field tested New rod reviews. @13:08 Beautiful Big Brown , executed tight fast loop cast in such a little opening between branch choked waters, then a quick hook-up, INCREDIBLE!!! Momentarily diverting my attention from the new rods action to your MASTERFUL casting skills. Not complaining, its stimulus overload! An excuse for me to rewind and watch again ( time and time again?). Other viewers come on now be honest, Teton Tenkara "view count" proof in the numbers. This New Nissin Zerosum Oni 345 Review excels, validating it's worth the price of admission!!!!! Doubling down with another thank you Sir!
Excellent video on a wonderful stream. In reviewing the rods, I imagine you have stringent requirements for keeping a rod. In determining to keep this rod, what void is it filling in your rod arsenal? Is it the RFI based on length; hookset which you don't get with other Oni/Nissin rods; other? Inquiring minds of others with too many rods want to know!
Time will tell if I keep this rod. It’s nice but I have a second Oni 395 as a back up, so I don’t need it for parts. I like Shimano’s actions at the 340 length and the Mizuchi when I need a power rod.
Beautiful Creek, Nice Fish, sounds like a fun day. Thanks for sharing.
Great video, please keep them coming!!
Great! Now I “need” one! Entertaining & informative video. Thanks for posting, Neil.

"This is the type of water where you lose a lot of flies". Sounds like home to me
Nice, Tom! I’ve got the 295 and will fish it for the first time tomorrow. I’m excited about a 300cm rod with a full cork grip.
just ordered the rod, how was it? :)

Very nice, but I think I will stay with my two Fujiyru 330s.
Great rods!
Do you plan on doing a review for the 295 cm version of this rod?
Not at this time.
