Yordan’s BOMB over the batters eye in center field…right then I knew it was over and we’d won. That and Chas’ leaping grab in center to save game 5. And all the MVPeña. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
My favorite moment was Javier's combined no hitter. He struck out the side in his last inning that he pitched. Abreu came in and struck out the side as well. Then Montero came in and struck out the first batter he faced and got the next two guys to pop up and hit a line drive. Pressly then came in to close it out. I think a combined no hitter is just as hard to pitch because the guys who pitch after the starter have to pitch at the starter's level or better to get 27 outs with no hits. The Phillies were never the same after that game and only scored a combined 3 runs in games 5 and 6!
Being at game 6 was unforgettable and this video almost does the hype justice. The ballpark was ON FIRE when Yordan crushed that ball everyone knew that the series was over right then. Astros pitching too elite. Electrifying series.
That Yordan home run was one of the most disrespectful home runs ive ever witnessed. And I was a kid when I saw Pujols break Lidge. Ill never forget that moment.
@@peteramarillo8952 yeah but Pujols hit that ball soooo far 455 ft off of a closer who got mvp and cy young votes that year. That home run hurt me no matter the series outcome. We still make fun of that ball never coming down
@@esmeraldaaguilar3691 I legit had to call my mom and apologies after that one. Only one other person has every hit it to the batters eye and it wasn’t to clinch a World Series. That home run made Schwarber bunt on two strikes. Same kinda feel after Soler hit that bomb last year.
@@SidelineFilmz the no hitter game by Javier. That imo is the momentum shift as we got destroyed the game before that and needed the no hitter to erase it mentally and assert our dominance again. This team is resilient
It was an exciting World Series. The amazing and improbable 1st game comeback from the Phillies, made the Astros take notice. And it had the media drooling that they were looking at a team of destiny. The humbling game 2 that it was not going to be a cakewalk. The absolute shelling by the Phillies of the Astros in game 3, obliterated the Astros in that game. Then the magical no hitter by the Astros in game 4. Followed by Verlander’s hard fought and shaky 1st World Series game win. And then the final game with a majestic Homerun by Alvarez; sealed by the Astros elite bullpen. The crazy thing is that if there would have been a game 7 Bregman and Gurriel would be out for the rest of the season because of injuries. Phillies were definitely a formidable foe. FYI, baseball is truly a game of inches… because some of those games were inches away from going the other way.
You have to love the way the series played out in the end. The Phillies were the big underdogs all playoffs and the fans had to feel like they were playing with house money, until Game 3. After Game 3, I am sure they could almost taste a championship. And then it just got savagely ripped from their hands by the Astros. The Astros crushed three fan bases in major fashion. That might be the sweetest thing of all.
Dusty Baker was right on target comparing this series to the 2021 ALCS against Boston. If you lay the box scores side by side, it’s almost eerie how similar the two series are in how they played out.
Wouldn't have made a difference in 2017 since the Stros were going to win it that year regardless. However, it was great redemption to win it all for the Astros. Phils gave them a great battle and were deserving to be there, but the Astros were just better. Hoping for a third title and more dynasty talk.
This series gave me 2021 ALCS vibes as the Astros beat the Red Sox ! In the series Houston came back down to win after losing game 3 ! They Astros got buried with HRs game 3!
The 2 strike bunt attempt was basically them waiving the white flag. The Astros didn’t just beat them, they took their spirit. Total victory. They also should have ended the video with Yankees/Phillies fans yelling “we want Houston” and then showed the parade where the Astros fans yelled it back mockingly
considering the story line and the fact they “wanted Houston” guess they thought it was their chance to prove that we couldn’t win unless cheating and they had their chance asked for us and got swept!!! that sweep alone would’ve been good enough for me without the World Series title lol
What happened in game 3 was the worst thing for the Phillies. First off, lets be real. The Phillies were a low playoff team. Low playoff teams make it far when they get hot. Many will fall when they cool down. With that in mind, this is how game 3 was bad. It masked the problem of the bats for the Phillies cooling off. They had been 0-7 with runners in scoring position in game 2. Come to game 3, yes they hit 5 HRs, yes they scored 7 runs, went up 2-1, at home. But what was masked, missed by so many and very important, how the Phillies got those runs and HRs. Against one Astro pitcher who everyone knows was tipping his pitches. Bullpen comes in, the stadium is pumping, crowd into it, probably louder than its been, everything is going the Phillies way. All the momentum, and what happens? In 11 at bats they get 1 hit, 1 walk, strike out 6 times. The Philles had gone cold, which was a kiss of death for a low playoff team. Instead of seeing that bit, everyone got swept away with what happened against pitcher tipping his pitches and not recognizing that they were not going to face him again the rest of the series.

Jeremy Pena's maturity and grit. We don't win without his leadership and example.

The final out and Yordan's game 6 HR.
The no-hitter in Game 4 that silenced an entire city. That performance ripped their hearts out.
Being at game 6 was unforgettable and this video almost does the hype justice. The ballpark was ON FIRE when Yordan crushed that ball everyone knew that the series was over right then. Astros pitching too elite. Electrifying series.
Proud to be a Texan Congratulations Houston Astros we did it 2 Champions!
That’s right bro we got 2 rings :D
That Yordan home run was one of the most disrespectful home runs ive ever witnessed. And I was a kid when I saw Pujols break Lidge. Ill never forget that moment.
Disrespectful in what way..?
?? Why ??
But the astros won the series against PUJOLS and the Cardinals that season dumbass

Absolutely game 6 Alvarez home run Legendary!!!
Definitely a momentum shifting play. Love the name, by the way.

That Yordan home run was a MONSTER shot and I love the call at 16:53: "This Game Has Turned Upside-Down!"

Altuve was injured too and would’ve been out for game 7

That’s two championships in both basketball, and baseball!! Go Stros!!!!
Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion! --RUDY TOMJANOVICH
Watching this I literally got chills I’m from Houston 🔥 we’re the best !

They played a helluva game in game 1 though
What a range of emotions. Go Astros 😃
(They should wear those blue jerseys they wore in Games#2 and #6 all next year)
Those jerseys are pretty cool for sure.
those are the jerseys Framber likes wearing thats why every time he was pitching they wore them
I love the multi homer game from tucker. Too bad it amounted to nothing in the end
I disagree. It showed the Astros they could lose it. Great motivation.
This series gave me 2021 ALCS vibes as the Astros beat the Red Sox ! In the series Houston came back down to win after losing game 3 ! They Astros got buried with HRs game 3!
Phillies never had a prayer. They wanted Houston, they got Houston. Astros saved the economy.
Honestly the last play was amazing! Love the clips and you did a great job putting it together thanks!!
Thank you very much!
As an Astros fan, game 3 and McCullers performance brought in some doubt on the outcome...but in the end ,was definitely an epic series !
This was EPIC!!!! GO STROS!!!!
Astros deserve to be top of the World! they beat everybody and not even close. 👍
Run it back!! 🤘🏾
Bravo!!! Best video I’ve seen for the World Series Champion Houston Astros!!
Thank you Juan!
Great compilation of the games. Epic sound effects at climatic moments. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for your hard work in making this mini-movie
Thank you, Kristine, I truly appreciate it! Subscribe for more!
Zero trash cans. All legit. The Astros redeemed themselves in 2022. For game6 the Yordan homer was the best. And the final out catch by Tucker!
took them long enough
Someone needs to make a video with the song 'For The Glory" in the background that would be epic
Finding out just how many of those men were playing injured is impressive
Congrats Houston fans
this is incredible!
Thank you, Chris!
Amazing video man loved every second!
Thank you, Jose! Hope you stay tuned for more great content like this.
This one is a little better than the one in 2017
Great job on the video!
Thank you Clint!
Dont remember seeing Harper in the WS....did he play?
(Yes...I watched the entire 6 games very closely)
Only thing this is missing is LMJ's quote in the celebration after winning

I appreciated the feedback, that's definitely something I should have included. Thank you for watching, though!
I am ASTROS !!!!!! I am CHAMPION !!!!!! Long Live the Houston Astros !!!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘
Great video subbed
thanks
No trash cans needed!!🤘
It wasn’t in the video, but when the Phillies Fans were talking sh*t to Mattress Mack then the Phillies didn’t win another game.
Factz!
considering the story line and the fact they “wanted Houston” guess they thought it was their chance to prove that we couldn’t win unless cheating and they had their chance asked for us and got swept!!! that sweep alone would’ve been good enough for me without the World Series title lol
Great video. Suggestion: Try making your titles throughout the video POP. Would elevate the video way more!
What do you mean by POP?
10:32 bro...what’s with that Minecraft sound effect XD lol
After Philly went up 2-1 in the series, the Astros clapped back and slammed the door shut in their face
Just like the dubs against the Celtics
Imagine saying we want houston! And gets houston....only to be sent home lolol see yall in 13 yrs! lmao

Tucker Multi-Homers - NOT EVEN MENTIONED!!!!
#FORTHEH
Only people that think the World Series was epic are the people who have moved on from 17!
I hate the phillies . Go Astros .
Not bad for a bunch of cheats
Excellent work Juan! Keep up the good work! ❤🫶
I’m a Yankee fan all the way but I gotta support my bloodline 🇩🇴🇩🇴🫡 vamos aya Jeremy peña. Apoyo fulll
