The one in Chomp Works Galaxy is quite tricky but I did not find it that hard since you can decide how the Cosmic Clones behave and you already know what your goal is.
Some of these are pretty trivial. For example, in Haunted Halls Galaxy, you only need to keep moving forward to progress, so there should be no reason for the clones catching up besides if Mario gets hit by an enemy.

if you take damage to the clones and get coins from the spiders in flip out galaxy, you can get rid of all the clones because the clones disappear when you take damage from them. it should leave you with like 2 health but it makes the level a lot easier. yes you can probably do this in other stages that have a low clone count but i just remember doing it in this level
