Underrated Tarantino gem. He did something adult and from a great novel (Which is connected to the George Clooney movie "Out of Sight", which has a Jackie Brown character cameo that is cool).
Notice that Jackie Brown's suit is the same that Uma wore in Pulp Fiction? BTW: That money was REAL!!! They had to have security around it all the time.
That was VERY fun to watch with you guys, you guys were hilarious on this one! lol. LOVE De Niro's performance. De Niro actually doesn't always play the alpha-male, or mobsters, or tough guys, same as Jack Nicholson doesn't always play psychos. One of my all-time fave De Niro performances is in Scorsese's "The King Of Comedy". PLEEEEEASE do that one, we need WAY more reactions to that classic. That's what he followed "Raging Bull" with, and the characters couldn't be more different. Great movie, dark comedy! Love De Niro in that, and I love him in "Jackie Brown".
@@TheMovieJourney Whoah, yeah, great idea! Virtually anything with De Niro....EXCEPT "New York New York"....and then add "After Hours", which De Niro isn't in but is one of Scorsese's best (and wildest). (another twisted comedy, one of the best of the 80s).
Another Elmore Leonard story that was made into a movie is Life of Crime (2013) with Tim Robbins and Jennifer Aniston and also has the characters of Ordell (Yasiin Bey, a.k.a. Mos Def) and Louis (John Hawkes). They're very different from their characters here. It was a fairly good movie but it can't stand up against an Elmore Leornard story in the hands of Quentin Tarantino.
I loved you guys in Shaun of the Dead.... J/K. 😅 great review! Am in the minority here, but I prefer Jackie Brown over Pulp Fiction. Reservoir Dogs is my favorite QT film.
I was looking forward to this one more than pulp fiction because it has one of the most beautiful women of my lifetime in it, Pam Grier! Seeing her after all these years was worth the price of admission! Plus the story is pretty cool. Peace!
0:49 LMFAOOOOOO who knew Dean was part black
Also this is my favorite QT movie, I even own the soundtrack on Vinyl

RIP Robert Forester.
The most underrated Quentin Tarantino movie in my third favorite Quentin Tarantino movie overall

Could see it in a Scorsese series down the track 👍🏼

"All the holes are empty" 😆
Top 3 Tarantino for me along with Bastards and Hollywood. Love Elmore Leonard and I appreciate how restrained QT was in this, not so self-indulgent.
More about characters arcs than the story itself and the soundtrack is as always superb as was Pam Grier.
Tarantino's best film by far. Not burdened down by all the standard tropes because it's based in a book written by Elmore Leonard.
Goodfellas had both De Niro and Sam Jackson!
My favourite QT joint followed by Django and Hollywood.
I think Deathproof should get more love, too.
Love this movie And great sound score as always with Quinton !
Jackie Brown is my favo Tarantino film
They do not have scenes together in two but Chris Tucker and Tiny Zeus Lister are in three movies Friday, The Fifth Element and Jackie Brown.😮
QT really got Bridget Fonda to put her best foot forward in this one.
Zing!

Max took his share of the money and opened up a business in Albuquerque repairing vacuum cleaners.
Definitely better than Pulp Fiction (sorry, not sorry)!
Great reaction! It is very interesting to see your reaction to the film Robocop 1987. This is a cool movie 👍🔥🦾
Hey my Friends, "falling down" (1993) & "Christine" (1983) two great movies very underrated. Thanks

30:14 You're the first reactor I've seen notice that. Watch his face. She pissed him off Big time, right then.
