Hi I’m a Liscense esthetician and just open my own spa, I’m planning to start using Dermalogica products, but the problem is that they r not very specific with different facials, they say order first and then customize it according to clients need. It doesn’t make sense to me, as if I don’t have knowledge of products how I’ll put my initial order

I just started using three steps of the dermalogica series: Special Cleansing Gel, the toner and the active moist creme. But I am somewhat confused about the precise process: should I apply the toner right after washing off the cleansing gel when my face is still moist, or should I wait until my face is dry again? And the same question for the active moist creme: should I apply the active moist creme right after spraying the toner when my face is still moist, or should I wait until the toner is dried off?
No worries ill explain: Toner must be applied on dry skin so pat your skin dry before doing so, and as for the active moist creme wait until the toner has dried off on your skin and apply a little amount your skin should not feel drenched with products, a little goes a long way! Hope this answered your question! 👏🏼
I actually measured out a half teaspoon tonight into the lid of Daily and after rinsing my face and trying to mix that amount into my cleanser it felt like an awful lot and was hard to mix up and foam. Now my skin is flaking on my forehead and such and I feel like I've gone backwards when getting my skin better. I don't know now if I should go back to every 3 nights and eyeball it like I was as it was obviously less than that into my Cleanser, use after, or what?
Hey lauren! So in the video I literally only used a little bit like a penny size amount it is not supposed to irritate the skin at all, im not sure if you used any other type of cleanser before hand that could have caused the irritation or not , but if you had been using this product before hand and never felt that way before then whatever you did different is what could have caused this reaction on the skin, a half of a teaspoon is allot i only used a penny size in the video.

I'm going to still try every other night because that's 3 to 4 times a week and less on weeks I get Electrolysis which is every 2 weeks. I think that's what caused it and now I have to try and get rid of those dry patches. I also added in a Hydrating Serum AM and PM from Iunik called Beta Glucan Serum.
But tell me why this is the first I'm hearing of a DOUBLE CLEANSE?!? IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!! I loved this video and look forward to checking out these dermalogica products!! Girl I'm getting older and this is the only face I have!! I have to take care of it 😩😩😩

I tried the daily microfoliant and got scared because my skin felt so dry the next day, I'm so glad that you said that you have to ease your way into it!!! Great tip. So when your exfoliating the skin your taking dead skin cells off your not trying to bring anything inside the skin, after you exfoliate your skin is so clean that the toner will help your skin absorb the products you will be applying after, even better! But don’t worry its nothing crazy if you did it before toning your skin during the day anytime is good as well!

So we should only use the daily exfoliater only once? Or can we use it both in the morning and at night?
Only exfoliate once a day! I recommend at the end of the day before bed that way your going to sleep on very clean skin! ✨
