For the record, Steph’s done an amazing job editing me into something acceptable. The vast majority of my video was shot in about twenty minutes due to time constraints, and there was very little chance to re-shoot it. I would re-do a lot of it. Especially the blooper reel at the end….
And I now know why she finds it hard to watch and edit herself…. 😂❤

I got 5 metal cabinets and I decoupage them with torn Kraft paper. I painted them rice paper white. They look like shoji doors, turned out cute. I lightly sanded and sealed the metal. 5 years later they still look pretty.

As a former band and choir parent I am intimately acquainted with the yearly Pancake Breakfast fundraiser. This year, I got to see my new graduated music teacher daughter direct her own choir at the very same grade school Pancake Breakfast she performed and worked at through the years. Crying in my pancakes.

As a Belgian, I'm familiar with the 8-hour (European style) pancake fundraisers. Mr. Canada is very much correct that they make people go a little harder than the savory variants. More picky eaters and kids are into pancakes, and they hit the "dessert" instead of "meal" button, so people are less likely to call it quits after one or two plates. You can have all the volunteers, pans, burners and batter you could physically gather, and you'll still not have enough to meet demand.

Y'all both married very well. Mr. Canada has an imaginative wife who can see dreams and possibilities. I don't imagine that there is ever a dull moment. Mrs. Canada has a supportive husband who does not dissuade those dreams and passions and I acknowledges that they are in his wife's DNA level (can't change the spots on the leopard). Good job kids! Keep your sense of humor and keep your hands and feet inside the car at all times while the ride is in motion.

Paint would help the rusty cabinet. Clean, sand, good wipe down and spray with paint made to cover rust. Wouldn't help if there are holes you'd have to patch those with bondo. You could probably do it in a couple days with dry time in your garage (with ventilation)

The easiest way to fix the rusty metal cabinets is to sand blast it and repaint it the way they do cars. If there is a place near you that can do it. The cheapest was to do it is a mask, a wire brush (possibly on a electric tool) and a lot of work. if they where smaller I would say dunk them in coca cola but that would take ALOT of coke.

Seconding this🙂. In addition to the wire brush, there are some rust removal products on the market that come in gel or liquid form which might make the task easier in some places (like nooks and crannies). You can apply it, let it do its thing, and then wipe/rinse it off. It's not the (environmentally) friendliest stuff out there though so do be careful when you use it.

I really like Mr. Canada doing the occasional video. He has a presence.

Mr. Canada seems to have a similar humor to Stephanie. He did a great job here! I’m looking at getting some fabrics now before they sell out! 🎉
