    Thanks Marcus you genius. I ended up in ICU due to covid and nearly didn't make it. Home from hospital now and absolutely delighted to have ordered my zen board. Can't wait to get my hands on it and practice for the golf clubs hopefully opening in April here in Ireland. Again thank you.

    Thanks again for this Marcus, need to re-watch a few times - lots to think about!
    Played 1st game today, shot 80 on a course I've never played before & missed a few decent birdie chances from poor putting.
    Never used my legs so much in my life & it really helps, especially with consistency - striking was much better.
    Pretty sore, but because I've been using different muscles.
    Might need new clubs though, as my swing is faster.

    Hi have been watching your channel ever since I saw you with Liam from golf mates great video I am 74 and wondered if there is anything different us older golfers should do most video's are with younger people but at my golf club 50% are over.50 which I would think is the same for most golf clubs CHEERS

    Bit technical for me, but can still see this GRF Board will become standard equipment for any teacher worth his/her salt and am positive it will be win best golfing aid. Brilliant innovation.

      Cheers Mick, just a bit different this week. Everyone learns differently so just wanted to show some underpinning biomechanics via a different concept. It won't be for everyone but it's good to show it in a different way sometimes. Normal lesson video next week and it's very interesting 👍

    had to go for a lie down after this one Marcus . I understand what you are doing . But surely it is important not to clutter the mind when you are practising with so much technical information. Nice to know how things are working that technically but for me i will stick with the just swing approach Cheers.

      Thanks Bob, yes it's a different type of video this week that conveys some underpinning biomechanics of the natural movements in a different perspective. We all learn differently so just trying to show it in a different context to help people inna different way. It will resonate with some and not with others. Back to a normal golf lesson video next week 👍

      @@GRFGolf I agree with @BobSnooker about different approaches although your video was right up my alley for a data nerd. Would love to see a link to the output spreadsheet fo the results. On the video it was too small to see clearly. I would love to study the numbers and then go back to get a better understanding of their relationships.

      Don't grip the floor with the toes. It's bodily stress response which constrains foot function.

    When doing the exercises with the board and swivel piece before swinging, how many swings should we take before moving on to hitting a ball. Also any particular pattern to use with going back and forth between practice and hitting to help us learn and ingrain the process better?

      This was just a one off 3D tutorial session explaining some of the underpinning biomechanics that result as an effect of the natural 'easy to do' exercises. This happens without thinking. It's not for everyone, some people like to know the rationale behind the emerging efficient movements. Check out the latest video, it's back to what you'll recognise as a regular ZEN lesson.

    Hi Marcus luv your videos.
    Just a quick question. Do you put any effort in the top half of your body? Arms, shoulders and hands In the downswing, or do you just flow from the ground letting your upper body unwind free from effort in the upper body?

    I've always liked your videos. The last couple however, are not keeping my interest. Audio is poor quality. Too much data given verbally. Edited: Watched again using headphones to improve audio volume. Was better. Also was able to listen and understand better. Apologize for being in a critical mood! Love your lessons! Has improved my golf swing tremendously. Keep them coming.

      This is gold.... the words mean more than actions... trust me I've been to the darkest depths of the internet and youtube and spent hundreds of hours over the past year trying to find simple swing fixes... went to see Marcus last year and truly blew my mind and my way of thinking about golf, you just need to listen

      @@bigfish4741 I believe Marcus is teaching what we need to hear. I've gotten so much from all his previous videos. I've watched them all. I even made my own GRF board. For many people though, we need to see things demonstrated in a way that keeps us interested. This video did not do that for me. Numbers are fine if they are displayed clearly and explained with comparisons. Just trying to suggest to Marcus to do the best job to communicate to his followers. I live in the states and don't have the ability to go to him for a lesson. Cheers!

      Thanks and no worries, this week has been a little different in that I've explained a few of the underpinning biomechanics behind the naturally emerging functional movements. All just a different perspective as we all learn differently. Some weeks will resonate deeply and some weeks maybe not so much but just trying to explain it via different concepts to appeal to everyone overall at some stage 👍

      I think Dave has a point, I am lucky enough to follow the words having had lessons and watched the vids, however, someone interested in the system and looking into it for the first time will struggle I feel. Marcus and his teaching is light years ahead of the standard lessons available out there. I have a lot of keen golfing mates who I want to recommend this to but not sure how their first intro to the words will sit. Fear not I will be taking my board to the driving range and spreading the word.

      Just a different approach last week to see it from a different perspective. This won't appeal to everyone and the next video is a cracking regular lesson video but everyone learns differently. This video will resonate with some and not others. It's just measured evidence of what happens naturally through the exercise without thinking. Sometimes just showing a different concept can make all the difference. Some will like the numbers, some won't but over a period of time I hope to appeal to everyone by varying the content 👍

      @@GRFGolf The simple Zen approach is the way , & that's what you do best ( IMO) I understand some people are technical & for those that are the may want the check out the guys at AMG ( Athletic motion golf ) in David Toms studio. They have all the gears stuff etc but are always using tour players as their models for instruction, this is what messes a lot of weekend warriors up IMO.
      Stick to what you do best mate nobody does it better .

      @@lesgreen9909 Thanks appreciate it, this wasn't instruction using the 3D only measurement to show objectively what the non technical exercise creates. It's just to support the exercise for those who may wonder what effect it has and how. The exercise is the exercise at the end of the day 👍

    This is one game they have been teaching for over 5 decades and still the golf hackers are still hackers. The lessons are a waste of time because you can't teach hackers to become athletes. Hackers have no rhythm. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

      Wouldn't agree, we've all got internal rhythms. Life revolves around rhythms. This video is a different theme than normal. If you see my library you'll see plenty of lesson videos of regular golfers improving quickly without technical thoughts. This was an explanation of what is going on underneath the bonnet when we're freewheeling. Take a look at the back catalogue 👍
