  • This is a 2nd part of my Thredbo Valley Trail series, which begins at Ngarigo Campground and ends at Bullocks Flat at 16.7km.
Thredbo Valley Track is an impressive shared-use trail which will take you down the picturesque Thredbo Valley and includes five amazing suspension bridges. Meandering along the banks of the famous Thredbo River, you can enjoy open grasslands, thick eucalyptus forests and green woodlands.
Section of the Thredbo Valley Trail showed in the video is rated blue, however I think it is still similar to the green part and I think it would be still suitable for a beginner riders as well.
Just like in the part 1, most of the time you will be going down, but there are few small uphill section.
It might be a good idea to organise a shuttle or someone to pick you up at the end of the ride as going back to Thredbo the same way will involve fair amount of climbing.
Prior to my trip to Thredbo I contacted Lake Crackenback resort and they offer return shuttle services back to Thredbo so if you wish to end your ride here and don't have anyone to pick you up, contact them for more details.
In the next part of the series I will be the new Lower Thredbo Valley extension, which goes all the way up to Gaden Trout Hatchery.

@@PavoMTB your video convincing me to, you aware of saying its more value ski trip to NZ or Japan , than thredbo...i mtb Rotorua and CAP & maydena, but not thredbo and im fr sydney

@@jeszpa4973 Yeah ski season is expensive in Snowy Mountains but renting a big house in Jindabyne over the Xmas period costed us $50/per person per night. If you did Maydena (did that too last year) you might not find Thredbo Valley exciting enough, it's more of a cross country type of trail to relax and enjoy the views.

Thanks mate, I would say 70-80% is going down. Exception is Muzzlewood track after Thredbo Diggings. There was a fair amount of climbing on that trail. You can see exact trail profile on the Trailforks.
