    It's pleasant to see WR holder does the same moves as you do, just 10 times faster. LOL.

      Yeah watching this makes me feel like a chump 😂 He makes it look so easy. Then when I do it, on average it takes me 4 minutes haha. Centers are easy, it just takes me time to do the edges. Also I haven't learned all the algs I know the flipping algorithm and the parody algorithm he used in the video.

    I've seen that you and crazybadcuber both use a flipping algorithm. Do you really need an algorithm for that? I've always just flipped the edges intuitively, and its not hard and the way I do it is different but uses the same exact amount of moves

    • @fzemdegs
      @fzemdegs  9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      sigalig It's not really an algorithm, I just take it out with R U R' then re-insert with F R' F' R

    • @TheYouTubeCuber888
      @TheYouTubeCuber888 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use R U R' U' F' U F for flipping because my in reduction placed cross edges stay

    • @MaximilianBerkmann
      @MaximilianBerkmann 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheTH-camCuber this flipping alg preserve it too

    • @sigalig
      @sigalig 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TheTH-camCuber yeah thats what I do I guess the only difference is that feliks is sledge hammering the edge in

    • @jonp1366
      @jonp1366 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheTH-camCuber try doing a sledgehammer than reinserting it. That way you can flip the edge without affecting your cross edges.

    I don't get it. I would probably solve the most cases the same way like you, but my average is around 2 minutes, so more than one minute slower as yours.
    Sure, I do some pauses while solving it, but the pauses aren't that long I think... :/

  • @JoeyVOV
    @JoeyVOV 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lol, I probably would have done the same exact things, maybe a few things different that could be improved, yet i am still hovering around 3 mins. I suppose i should just practice and find more optimal move solutions.

    For the ones asking for parity, thers no parity in odd cubes (3x3,5x5,7x7) only in pair cubes, because in the pair cubes u domt have centers and that kimda makes it harder =)

    • @garretsimpson2112
      @garretsimpson2112 10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      OLL parity cases happen on the 5x5 and 7x7 when solving the last edge or two edges, there just isn't any PLL parity.

  • @Erwaman
    @Erwaman 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm very surprised that you don't know all the last-two tredges algorithms! I guess when the rest of your tredge pairing and centers is so fluid and your 3x3 solving phase is world-class, an extra algorithm doesn't really make a difference.

  • @EMI94100
    @EMI94100 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    thanks for the wt, how do freestyle corners work? (description :P)
    I like how you saw parity with three edges left. Also like how you solved the last four edges at the first solve.

  • @supercoolmunkee
    @supercoolmunkee 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Guys Feliks is now making a new 3x3 how to get faster series! He will upload them in future reference since he broke the record and much faster now then when he was young.

  • @xxoxia
    @xxoxia 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    What are you talking about? He had parity at the end of the first solve. He didn't use the shitty beginner's alg (Rw2 B2, etc) he used the good one (Rw U2 x, etc).

  • @hanspeterpitsch
    @hanspeterpitsch 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Edge pairing is free slice. It's pretty intuitive and after watching this video you should be able to figure it out. It's pretty easy to learn by yourself.

  • @DiscordCriminal
    @DiscordCriminal 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I can solve a 3x3 in around 20-30 seconds but any big cubes I can’t wrap my head around how to speed solve. I can do the 5x5 in 2.5 minutes and I’m still doing the centers>edge paring> f2L>oll>pll like a 3x3. My 7x7 takes me about 14 mins lmao.

    It's actually not that hard, I bought a 4x4 like 4 years ago, learned the method in a few hours online and that's it. Ofc I would NEVER be as fast as Feliks, I'm just saying it's pretty easy to do the pairing with edges and centers. Much easier than it looks.
