  • What would you do if you saw a six year old alone in a public place?
თქვენ რას გააკეთებდით, 6 წლის ბავშვი რომ ქუჩაში მარტო გენახათ?

if a well groomed little girl was standing looking like she is lost, i will help her because i know she lost her parents, but if a homeless girl does that the only way to help is to give her money/food or take her in and not find her parents because they probably left her but for the restaurant part i would buy her a meal or something. That is just so disgusting to tell the security to take her out. It's just my opinion

A lot of people think that they would have helped if in this situation, but because of the way the video makes us feel, it makes us think life if we would, but when your actually in a situation like this, you just ignore her, but you worry if you should help or not and your nervous. And it's really annoying how a lot of social experiments have content where if one person helps, everyone else does, that's because we are actually nervous and hope that someone else would help her, but if you thought that, wouldn't others think that too? And then, we end up with no one helping. But there are still people who will immediately help if they saw a girl like that lost. And don't expect that just because someone is dirty and has ripped clothes, is homeless or poor.

the reason ppl at restaurant ignoring the poor girl is that there's gang involved who attack and loot who sympathize

Wow this is heartbreaking. Those people judged her by her looks. No matter what she is a human being you should treat people the same way no matter what they look like. This was heartbreaking to me when they said she became to upset. Like what did the people think when they saw her running out crying, if they even bothered looking.

Sadly , children were too young to bear the disadvantaged and victims of discrimination such. I felt bad, and I think probably many children had to cry so.

These people felt like the Anano, when she was "not well-groomed", must have been a diservice, a disrepect to their reputations. So sad. Well, its great that UNICEF is helping these kids. They're making a needed change in the world. Look into Help Desks.

Ok, so what's the point you're trying to make, UNICEF? of course I'm gonna fucking be concerned if a 6 year old regular-looking child is roaming unsupervised, because it's assumed, based on common sense, that she has parents.
Now explain to me how is it ammoral to not ask every homeless kid why she's alone. You do realise that a significantly large amount of (if not most of) homeless kids don't have parents, right? That's a sad fact, but that's the reality.
Vast amount of homeless kids, while begging on the streets, regularly inconvenience you in their manner of doing it to the point of you having no choice but to give them money because they follow you until you do so, and in some cases harass you by spitting on you or trying to snatch your wallet away if you don't. Does it suck to have to ask a restaurant worker to escort a homeless kid away? yes it does. Is it a fault of a regular citizen? Fuck no.
This is a sad reality, but If you really care about the problem, the wise thing to do would have been donating the resources spent on the production of this video to the charity organizations dedicated to this very issue. Filming a "social experiment" with a hidden agenda of putting citizens in a negative light doesn't fix the problem in the slightest.

Well, it's fairly logical to react that way in a restaurant. Clean child - random person's child wondering about. Dirty child - best case scenario is they're trying to take people's food, but a lot of young children from poor families are sent off to steal from people in major cities because they won't be punished. You wouldn't want to be on edge while you're eating your meal, holding your phone and wallet because a beggar girl is hovering around the tables.

I honestly thought more people would help out the girl and approach her if she was wearing dirty clothes. That's because the whole homeless look would make you think that the kid isn't being taken cared of and needs help. I get that people pass by homeless people all the time, but she's a kid all by herself out there. I just don't get why people would approach her more when she looks all nice and healthy and okay because that would tell me that she's being taken care of and that she's fine. If you want to be friendly and if the girl is friendly, that's fine, but it just seems weird to me. I was surprised to see the results in this video.

There's also the selfish motivation. If a well dressed child is left alone its assumed the overjoyed parents will give a cash reward at having their safe return. Then they can get paid, and feel like a hero and tell themselves they are a fucking saint. With a poor child needing food, care and shelter it is nothing but a burden and a reminder of the evils of the world and the darkness in their own hearts that they want to forget about.

    • @lolsa123

orrrrrr, the "well dressed child" would be less likely to try to pick your pockets, like a beggar child would do? hm....

what would i do? i remember i was 8 years old when i saw a Gypsy girl nearby my School, i had some coins with me for lunch. i decided to share half of my money with a poor girl, and what she did?! threw coins back on me and started to shouted on me... ''you are greedy you just gave me half''... that half was more than enough for one meal... this little girl pretty looks like Gypsy for me... if i were among those people i wouldn't help her as well. (if she could have asked me for help of course i would) i am 25 years old for now and however i can i give helping hand... please friends don't judge Georgians Because of this Experiment...

If I were to spot a child in the middle just standing on the side of the street wearing "normal" clothes my first thought would be that that child may be lost or waiting for someone, and if the child were wearing dirty clothes like in the clip I would assume that she was a beggar or just simply poor girl waiting for someone. and if she would ask me for money I would probably just ignore her
