Cannot wait to seethe warp woven up! As always, the colors are a beautiful surprise. As I recall, you explained in another video what you use for ID tags that resist the dyeing process. Would you please explain this again? Thank you!
Thank you! The tags are plastic index card dividers, cut into pieces. I have tried to purchase more, but I can't find them anywhere. They are the same material I used to make my cards for tablet weaving.
They are pieces of plastic index card dividers. They were an inexpensive purchase at Walmart, but now they seem to be unavailable. I write on them with a sharpie.
@@KariFellWeaves i am still confused, because I wrote on plastic with an indelible felt tip pen. Is that what you mean by a sharpie? I was so disappointed because I am dying samples of a rainbow (tertiary colors) out of three primary colors « saddened by adding 10% brown » I had written the formula on each sample and they disappeared when heat was applied. This hadn’t happened in previous dye attempts.
That came out so nice…I’m looking forward to seeing how it weaves up!
Me too!!
I love your dye videos! Thanks for showing the whole process!
You're welcome. Glad you like them!
Beautiful colours!
Thanks!
I love watching you dye - so inspiring! I wonder what color you will weave it with - I can’t wait to see it woven!
Thank you! I am not sure about colour. Maybe a navy or dark purple.

@@KariFellWeaves, thank you for the info. It seems that the very things we come to rely upon often disappear.
wow!
Thanks!
@@KariFellWeaves Love all you do, what an inspiration. Thank you for YOU!
Curious what you used for labeling that survived so well in the pan.
