Hi! Below are the exact names for the scenarios I included in the video + a bit more info about some of the tasks
    Controlsphere:
Kovaaks: just search for "controlsphere" and a bunch of good variants should show up
Aimlabs: VT Controlsphere is voltaic's remake of the scenario and it's pretty close to the kovaak's version, but isn't as good imo
    Adjusttrack
Kovaaks: the scenario name is ADJUSTTRACK - VALORANT, there are also slower and easier versions
Aimlabs: the exact scenario name is "Adjust Track Valorant" and there are three versions for beginner, intermediate and advanced players + score targets on the voltaic valorant benchmarks
    cloverrawcontrol:
As far as I know this is kovaaks only at the moment. Also just to note, I said in the video that the small target size is the point of the scenario but what counts as small is relative, there are easier versions of the scenario and I'd recommend playing those instead of the main scenario if you are getting below 30-40% accuracy
    Air Angelic 4 Voltaic:
Kovaaks: The main scenario I talked about in this video also has an easy version if the main one is too hard to train controlled microadjustments on, and the very easy one I mentioned at the end is called "Air Angelic 4 Voltaic Easy 80% (Good Version)"
Aimlabs: There is a scenario called "angelic sphere voltaic" which I think is meant to be a remake but doesn't quite capture what make the kovaak's version of this task so good imo, but is better than nothing.

Great video! Ive been preaching for ages that these scenario types are so useful in context of tacFPS games as we train how to perform micros at higher frequency (and other sub skills). One thing that everyone should remember is to train not only game specific aim but also more generalized "raw aiming skills" even things that you'd hardly do in the game. While in game you need to perform in certain context, as each game stresses from different things, a lot of these contextual skills will take off of your overall skill level and general mouse control. Everything is somewhat connected in aiming so even things that might seem as not super useful might turn out much more beneficial than we initially think.

the funny thing is, legit just last night was thinking this. Tracking is by far one of the easiest aim categories to transfer into games. And the amount of benefits you get by having better target reading helps you transfer your static click aim into games. its like grinding dynamic can also have the same benefit as this. Great video

recently i hit 800h in kovaaks and for the vast majority of it ive been basically just grinding fundamental or vdim playlists and sometimes weakness specific playlists on the side so for the most part i dont think i put a lotta thought into it which is probably one of the main reasons my progression has been fairly slow and inconsistent

They way you talked about using fingers to aim mirrors everything ive been going through the last few months. I grinded so much air angelic 4 and extra controlsphere and was very close to damaging my wrist but after more research i picked up on using "all" arm parts to aim from mattyow's streams so i loosened my claw grip into a more relaxed finger/claw hybrid and now I'm hiting much better scores with no hand strain at all! I cant recommend this video enough and really wish some of the other top aimers would stop beating around the bush when giving advice like "your just overthinking it bruh, just move crosshair and your body will figure it out lol" because its not that intuitive and also kind of important for technique and hand health

Ive been saying this shit FOR YEARS happy you made a video about that topic, its always somewhat challenging to say "Tracking helped me a lot for Valorant" without people saying that this is false and doesnt make any sense, but people tend to forget that tracking, for the most part, is just constantly microadjusting in a smooth way, which is what you want to have in most games and specifically Valorant.

Ive found that training dynamics clicking has yielded the best results for my aim in valorant/cs its a mix of both tracking and clicking which has helped me a lot in game. Ive been trying the lowgravity56 week routine that targets dynamic clicking and it has helped me a lot

    • @ViscoseOCE
      @ViscoseOCE  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

im gonna copy paste my reply to another comment, i think dynamic clicking is great as well but for slightly different reasons
“i dont disagree that dynamic also captures the same motion and is def great for training, but i think tracking tasks like this are slightly better at training it, for a couple main reasons
      1. frequency - these microadjustments happen far more often in tracking tasks like this than in dynamic
      2. awareness of mistakes - in dynamic scenarios, there is often no feedback other than visually checking for if your technique is good or not. Both poor and perfect technique will often result in the exact same outcome, hitting your shot. You can implement perfect adjustment technique in those scenarios but there is nothing forcing you to. In scenarios like controlsphere you get instant feedback through hitsounds and score on not only if your microadjustment was accurate or not but also if you were too tense/shaky on your landing, didn't smoothly follow through into that track and so on.
      3. isolation - these tasks focus on the core movement of microadjustment into a clean follow through with no hesitation without you needing to worry about clicking and the instability it can bring. The click can then be added in on top of that core movement either in game or in dynamic clicking tasks after getting more consistent at it through training with tasks like this.”

My biggest breakthrough as a beginner in aim training happened when I visualized flicking as nothing more than tracking fast. You track the fastest route to the target and react to any shift in direction smoothly always with variable speed. I chose a comfortable sensitivity to approach this method and my aim has never felt as relaxed and automatic.

I was using a relatively low sens (more wrist and arm movement) for the longest time and I changed to high sens for a little over a year just to experience how some pro players aim with high sens. With that, I've learnt I had to use my finger muscles (the muscle group you mentioned in the video!) to adjust my aim better. Currently, I've adjusted my sens to somewhere in the middle because now I know which muscle groups to use. Just gotta know when to use it in game :P

I always struggle to hit them, but since I've done some drills like this over the last week I actually managed to ding a few with headshots. I'm not a good aimer, it's why I'm stuck in silver 1, I lack consistency but it helps a lot.

This is an awesome video cause it covers some common doubts as to why tracking should even be considered into your aim routine. But to be honest, I get very demotivaded playing tracking cuz I can barely hit 20% acc on "easy/novice" voltaic scenarios even though I "should look for a scenario where im capable of hitting 50% acc" (2:11) plus its just frustrating not hitting anything on the easiest ones... I know its skill issue, just confused if trying to jump to scenarios that I perceive as hard is is an efficient way to improve at this skill, rather than the basic "slow progression" method

Hi Viscose! First of all thanks a lot for your content, you are really helping a lot of people. I have a question, which skates do you use with the mouse pads you put in the video description?

The need for tracking is more obvious but I noticed this in CS as well, I grinded static for a long time and when I started tracking in my routine all of a sudden I wasn't struggling against glocks, smgs, shooting people in the back of the head who aren't aware of me and generally noobish movement.

Idk why the mentality is so common, I def thought tracking wasn't something I needed to practice starting out aim training. But the mouse control you gain is crazy. Especially when you start managing tension across your arm, wrist and fingers for dif tracking requirements. In practice you could argue from your muscles standpoint that's the best way to start, slow movement before the fast flicks. The whole "with time comes controlled speed" thing. Static will always be important but it's funny how rather than equally training fundamentals most people gravitate towards the one that seems most relevant to making the kill feed scroll.

I agree 100%, I didn't notice it in cs go, but I always played sixshot in cs go, but after switching to valoranta in kovaak, something was missing in cs go, my hs rate was very good in cs go, and in valoranta it had dropped, and I noticed that in an interesting way, valorant is a bit like apex, although not exaggerated, tracking is needed, but it is not normal tracking, but it sounds like dynamic click style, I will play what you said, but I will play what you said, but I will play what you said, but I have improved in scenarios that require kinTS, flick tracking, but what you said is really true, I am better than before when I play tracking scenarios in valoranta.
    1000 fps kovaak waow :D my only 180fps :D
