Man! I was hoping to hear a song from Earthbound/Mother 2. I only knew the DKC ones and the Zelda ones lol. Oh and if you want to get technical, the full name of #4 is Safety in the Sanctuary. 😁

wow, I was surprised no music from any of the great RPGs that were on the SNES were on the list (Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana, Romancing Saga, Breath of Fire, and Earthbound).
Earthbound was an accident! It was in our notes and we missed it. We got an earful for skipping it, which is understandable!! We left out games made by Square/Enix on purpose since they’re very protective of their copyright. It’s a shame since if they were a little more lenient we would do more quizzes focused on the great music from their games.
EarthBound appeared in our "Guess the SNES Title Music" video (th-cam.com/video/NGvzZ0U8xdo/w-d-xo.html). Pretty sure it was on the list of games we were pulling from for this vid, but we must have overlooked it and went with the different game instead. A mistake on our part-EarthBound has some awesome music!
Yeah, we got a lot of (deserved) flack about the forest maze one! We weren't aware the song left a mark on so many ppl-we thought it was just us 🤣 We've since learned. Regarding the ghost house one, you'd be hard-pressed to find an obscure song in that game! Maybe one of the later map themes would be a little more obscure, but even then not by much.
