Honestly, rep is such a fair player, explaining game mechanics to everyone even if it means his own downfall. (Talking about how he explained the witch message to courtilly). He's been such a great guy and deserves mad respect for his Fairplay and hearty demeanor.
He's lowkey one of the best parts of the new town of salem videos. Always helping the crew understand and you can tell there's been a significant improvement in how much everybody plays because of his help. As a long time town of salem player, he really represents the best of us in the community. Town of salem should be about having fun and helping others learn how it works, not toxicity and tearing each other down for making bad plays
I agree I really enjoy Rep's attitude. but I 100% thought it was just a ballsy play at first. I assumed this man just thought to himself "well surely they'd never vote me as the witch if I so fairly explain to them that I am the witch."
I like doing this and understand why Rep does it as well. He wants people to know how the game works so people know it better and can enjoy it more because people who enjoy the games are more likely to play the game again meaning that you have people to play with. It is a win win situation, you help them play the game better and they play the game more giving you someone to play with.
Pro strat relating to the last game Chilled: If there are two Mafiosos dead, and no Godfather dead, then there is no Godfather in the game. Other mafia roles can replace the Mafioso if they die, BUT ONLY if there is no living Godfather. You might not remember this, but having it in the back of your mind can be a nice help in All-Any games :)
@@bugmoon1939 I'm almost certain there couldn't be two Mafiosos. It's like pseudo-unique. Even tho its all-any, you cant have two Vets, Retri, GF etc. If you had one Mafioso, you could have a GF or any number of random maf, but not a second mafioso because mad can always only have 1 kill per night.

Been playing town of salem for years, even before Chilled's first videos on it I think. Rep is such a fantastic dude and I think he represents (pun not intended) what town of salem's community should be about. Helping people learn the ropes instead of trashing them for making mistakes, like you see so often in the text chat if you play public lobbies And to top all of it off he knows the game inside out, it's just really nice to see
I've run into so many toxic players over the years who genuinely made me want to quit playing. And it's important for ToS veterans to try and teach new players how to play, but most importantly to have fun. Makes me sad the game's public lobbies have so much toxicity but people like Rep really do help
If you play public lobbies or are interested in doing so, please just be decent to your fellow townies. Acting like a dickhead makes town of salem feel like a sweatfest when it should be a fun game about deception, social clues and roleplaying

I tend to claim bg and sheriff a lot when I'm evil, but even if someone claims it I try to not to think too much about it because I feel like playing with meta is kinda boring. I'll only be suspicious if there's too many ti claims or they have a wrong result or smth.

Game 2: The transporter transported the GF with the witches target, but both the GF and the witch targeted the transporter. The GF went on a wild ride, but the Transporter pulled a submarine.
The game with three Escorts was pretty funny. A game with four or five guaranteed would be hilarious (5 Escort, 5 Random Town, Godfather, Mafioso, Consort, two Random Neutral).
Whispering to anyone in this game is very risky. If one person whispering to another dies and is revealed as evil. Then you know that most of the time, those they talked to are also bad. But it can be hard to tell, since good guys can also whisper, so you have to just take a shot in the dark and hope your lucky.
Random question: If you still have a jailor , a vig and enough town remaining and you have an idea of who might be (or is) the GF and Mafioso, do you guys shoot the Mafioso first and then kill the GF after that so a big can then knock out any remaining RM since they don't hands defense? I want to see how others play or if I'm the only one who tries to do it this way.
Jail the person you suspect is mafioso and see if nobody dies that night. Then, if you're cautious, jail them again to verify once more. Don't tell the town any of this if they don't know you're jailor yet Finally, reveal your info after jailing them two nights in a row and let the town decide if it's right to hang them
Alternatively, you could whisper the vig to shoot the mafioso while you jail the godfather. You can also deduct who the other mafia are based on who publicly defends the person you kept jailing, not always a guaranteed success but it can be very effective Imo the best way to tell who is mafia is by seeing which way the votes are pushed. Were people voting super slow? Who were the people that voted first? They're probably innocent, or it's at least worth noting that they jumped to vote first
In game 1, I’m not sure why they would vote Chilled instead of Bryzzyne except for content. Planning out loud to have the jester kill a killer just means the killers won’t guilty unless they’re confident in their cover (and then you’re relying on the jester’s judgment?)-though I suppose that does tell you who the killers are if town is in agreement. Still seems odd, even if it worked out with Shab being mafioso.

Please play some town traitor as it special type there away a jailor and rest mafia and random townie and may be wondering how mafia suppose to win and that they have some inside help a random townie (jailor, mayor, vigi, vet, etc) has join mafia side also if town traitor all that left you have 3 days to guess who they are or mafia wins or if playing coven town traitor it versus coven which will away have Medusa and Coven Leader and for mafia I believe it mafioso and godfather.
