- The compressive cuff of current blood pressure sensing technology, the sphygmomanometer, causes discomfort and pain. The sphygmomanometer is also unable to acquire blood pressure measurements continuously.
This team of Nanotechnology Engineering students created a device that employs piezoelectric ultrasound sensing technology to provide a non-compressive and non-invasive continuous blood pressure sensor. It can benefit patients suffering from blood pressure related medical conditions, including hypertension, hypotension, and white coat hypertension, as it removes the necessity for repeated and painful measurements. Instead, it provides a comfortable and pleasant experience.

It’s been over 5 years since the first I’ve seen this. Where is the final product? We’ve needed it for over 5 years now!!!
👍🏻👍🏻
👏👏
phantom artery or a simulation of human pressure blood apparatus would be enough for this project.
Can u provide me full documents of this project..
Will this technology be in the next Apple Watch?
Did you ever make it ?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The mathematical equation used in the pressure calculation is incorrect!!! indeed the flow velocity V is different from the wave velocity C confused here with V !!!
Is this available to buy?
Pee ay zow. Stress on second syllable.
IN OTHER WORDS CUFFS CAN BE HACKED. !
