添削じゃないですが、何点か気になった点を。
僕はこのゲームの勝者を見れたことがない→普通に「勝者のいないゲームだったんだ」って訳す方がいいかなと。
物語を考慮するともしかしたらですが、「勝ち目のないゲームだった」の方が適切かも。3部作のOP曲の第一声がこれかと思うと陰鬱になりますが
ストーリーには完全に合致するかと。
Iが誰を差すかですよね。ハサウェイなら後者、ケネスなら前者かな・・・
その後ろの歌詞はハサウェイを差しているような気がします。
その暗黒のメビウスを引き裂こう→メビウスはメビウスの輪から永遠と繰り返す的な意味を持ちますので「永遠と続く、悲しき繰り返しを切り裂く(止める？)」かな？
We can still break the circleとも合致します。
突然、私の天国は崩れ落ちたあなたの深淵のせいでね→～のせいという意味はないのでは？「突然、私の天国はあなたの奈落に崩れ落ちた」でいいのでは？
過去の贖罪から逃げ続けている、地球に降ろしてあなたにまだ何の価値があるのか教えてあげようか？ → 贖罪ではなく、「復讐」や「報復」の方が妥当でしょう。
また、bring you down to earthは「現実に引き戻す」と訳すべきなので「現実に引き戻して、あなたの価値を教えよう」ですかね。
合わせると「過去の復讐から逃げているあなたを現実に引き戻し、あなたの価値を教えよう」かな？
「過去の復讐」はやはり囚われ続けてるクエスの事なのか、シャアが見た絶望なのか。
1番がハサウェイ目線
2番がギギ目線？
3番がストーリー終了後のケネス目線なんですかね・・・
そして「We’ll get a way together」のWeがケネスとギギの二人か、ハサウェイが加わるかで
原作通りの終わり方とハッピーエンドの違いなのかな、と思っています。

物語に沿って歌詞の和訳（意訳）した人の記事見るに、ハサウェイは、プレッシャーな父親、デカ過ぎる2人のパイセン、初恋の地雷女を全部引きずった拗らせテロリストでどうしようもないんだよな。凄く良い。
かつてアムロに『死んだ者の力に引かれてる』と言われたシャアの意志を継いだハサウェイが、クェスという死人に引かれてるのもなかなか皮肉だよな…
そんなハサウェイが今度はギギと出会ってしまう…
純粋な女は時には危険だ…
これ劇場で聞いた時の鳥肌凄かった…
流石は虐殺器官の監督が手掛けてる映画なだけあるね。op入れるタイミングのセンスが圧倒的過ぎる。

宇宙世紀がどんどん暗澹たるものになっていく雰囲気が出てて震える

時代に常に抗い続けるんやな、だけどのちの時代に平和が1000年も続くからな
それでも希望は決して失われる事なく、歴史の転換点には必ずガンダムとそれに相応しいパイロットが現れる。
宇宙世紀は実に醜く美しい。

それでもと希望を失わずに戦ったバナージや主人公達のガンダムが行き着く先がテロリストの力の象徴として使われるの、バナージ達が見るとどう思うんだろうとふと思う

「閃光のハサウェイ」という物語の救いの無さを体現するような悲壮感を感じさせるこの曲で物語が始まり、EDは(本人が知る由もない残酷な)未来に向かって歩んでいくハサウェイを応援するような、明朗で力強い曲で終わる
本当に辛くて最高…
あるいは本人のみぞ知る…テロリズムの曲とか小説の終末？にむけた皮肉だとか、ハサフェイの弱さがって感想もすくなくないけど、繰り返すことも重々承知なぐらい戦いにはこなれすぎてる鈍感さや青さはあっても、何も変えられないかもしれない変わらないかもしれない、そうだとしてもやってみるよと重力に抗って、どうなるかわからない未来、混沌の中に身を投じ、存在をかけて戦うものの唱ってめんもあるはず。飛び交う弾線やすれすれの死線をそのつど切りぬけ翔けていく戦士というような。小説の結末は知らないけど、仮に死んでしまうのだとしても死へ向かうというよりは、かつて死んでも戦ったもののストーリーがあったてかんじ。なんでこんな現実なんだって虚しさはあるけど、何でこんなことやっちゃったんだって後悔の念とか死という終わりへ向かうんだって安直な曲にはなってないとおもう。
自分は学が無く言葉の選択肢が少なく上手く感想を言えないが貴方のコメが感想の全てでした。
今日たまたまテレビつけたらなにかのエンドロールかオープニングが流れてて曲がかっこよくてソッコーで｢mpi｣｢閃光のハサウェイ｣だけメモしてここにたどり着いた、ガンダムか何かも知らぬまらまたどり着いた、かっこよすぎ
テレビverじゃなくてアマプラか何かで閃光のハサウェイ本編見ることを強くオススメします！

このBGMをバックに映る、ペーネロペーの怪物感たるや．．．劇場で鳥肌から急激に何故か涙が出そうでしたね．．．
宇宙世紀79年からわずか40年ちょいで20メートルの巨人同士が音速飛行でやり合うんだから技術進化の恐ろしさよ。
3部作の1作目OPにこんなにも作品の本質を突いた曲出しちゃっていいのかと思うくらい好き
TV版でEDになった時は毎週見終わった時に放心してた
宇宙世紀ガンダムの音楽って今までこういう英語の歌詞とかはそんなに見られなかったけど、ucで澤野さんが参入してから明らかに新しくなったし、けれどしっかりと宇宙世紀ガンダムソングを継承してるのがすごい。正直これまでアニメのサントラって頻繁に聞いたりしてなかったけど、澤野弘之音楽は毎日聴いてる
UCもハサウェイもジオン消えて連邦の支配で世界がいよいよ詰みかけてる最中だからこれまでと一新した澤野さんの音楽とも親和性高いよな
｢Can never forgive｣か…赦せないのはハサウェイ自身？
これからの波乱を知っているから、心がザワザワする。美しいが｢不穏｣な気配に満ちた曲…好き。
曲を聞いた瞬間表面の肌が勢い立つ感じがした。これから始まる悲劇と戦いを連想させる最高の曲だ。

この曲を聴いていると、これまでの宇宙世紀シリーズで死んでいったキャラクター達を思い出して泣きそうになる。
ハサウェイの過去だけでなく宇宙世紀の悲惨な歴史をも感じさせる、今作にピッタリなOP曲だ。

What I love about this song is that it's explaining Hathaway's reasons for why he doing all of this. It a tale about how so many years ago, he was robbed of the one thing he treasured the most, how a corrupted system led to the war that ended up destroying the treasure he cherished the most, and now he can no longer forgive the said system that still continues to screw people over, time and time again. He can no longer find any means or justification the social status and now believes that force of change is the only way to save everyone. His ideology has become a mix of Amuro and Char's a mix of both of their good and bad, and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he does, for he knows what he doing and that why he knows his only road is either to see this through to the end or to meet death itself.

I keep looking up the lyrics. In the second verse i swear it says ,"My head is as corrupt as the enemy's"
But all the lyrics read "My heaven just collapsed in an abyss" The way I heard it sounded a whole lot better.
I watched it again last night, and that conversation with Kenneth at the "Kimberly Unit" cafeteria was quite telling.
Hathaway was fully aware of what he is doing. But, yes, as you said, he cannot see another way to achieve his objectives.
And he knows what this will cost, eventually. He told Kenneth as much.
One of the best songs Sawano has ever made in my opinion. He's experienced with making duos work perfectly, and now he managed to get a trio to work with this much chemistry. This guy is a god.

死人に引っ張られて、同じことを繰り返してるハサウェイらしい…
まぁ、ハサウェイはシャアのやり方が間違えているとは思っていないけど、アクシズ落としはやりすぎだから自らの手で優しく連邦潰しながら地球人を宇宙に移民させて、スペースノイドの気持ちや生活を分かってもらおうとしてますからね…その結果、お金の無い人は宇宙に行けない訳だが…
ネタバレしない様にコメント考えたんですけどもし、ネタバレじゃい！って思ったら教えて下さい。削除します
嵐の前触れを予感させるような曲。心の底から、これから起こる悲劇を知りつつも何も出来ない無力さと傍観、諦念を感じる。ユニコーンガンダムでも涙が溢れるような熱い音楽を作って下さった澤野さん。今回も心が震えるような音楽を世に出して下さってありがとうございます。
這首歌完美的詮釋了哈薩威這個人的人生與信念，也直直指出這部作品到底想要表達什麼東西，甚至直接劇透了整部作品最後會有的結局。
同時，這也是一首充滿力量且煽動性很強的歌。裡面充滿了對體制的怒火、對革命的訴求，以及對光明未來的渴望。
哈薩威是一部反映現實的作品，在30年前適用，在30年後的今天也仍然毫無改變。

I knew I wasn't the only one getting Skyfall/Bond feels from the opening titles. Actually, the whole film gives similar vibes. And I love it. So excited for Part 2. I hope they get to use the rest of the song somehow cuz the outro/coda from 3:15 is so powerful, I love it.
considering Hathaway has gone full rogue and started acting as some sort of agent of change the vibe of the song really fits with the spy theme, almost like metal gear except Hathaway is trying to accomplish outer heaven and change the system no matter the sacrifice

オープニング見てまさかとは思ったけど、MVみたら色々豪華すぎてマジ震えた。。。

宇宙を超えたのはアムロとシャアだけであって2人の能力(アムロのMS技術、シャアの思想)を受け継いだハサウェイは未だメビウスの輪に囚われて、最期には……この世界線ではまだ決まった訳じゃ無いか。

@@kaistoast Oh it definitely sounds more like "wear", but I do think they're trying to pronounce "wave". Since what Hathaway's doing is similar to waving a flag against the wind, inspiring onlookers to change where the wind flows. Beautiful.

I thought this was an interesting word, because it is connected to the fact that he is warmed by hate.

After listening to thunderbolt jazz series soundtracks, this is yet another masterpiece for hathaway's flash. Legendary! The production team are really stepping up their A-game each time!

Just an interesting tidbit I noticed while rewatching the movie. During the scene where they're at the airport following the hijacking, the soft ambient piano playing in the background is actually a rendition of this song.

This song stands out more to me than the theme made for MSG Hathaway. The Mafty air raid from the ground was probably my favorite scene. Excited for the next two films.
