Thank you! Took my G test today however from the highway we took the first exit into the residential areas. Then back to the highway. It was my first time using that route and for anyone taking the G test they might use that route as well.
Things sure have changed. When I did my test there in 2018, it started with having to do the parallel parking in their parking lot, and it ended with me having to back in. The worst part of mine was that they actually closed the airport highway ramp for repairs right before my test started, so we ended up taking a completely different route than the one I had practiced! I was so sure I would miss a sign and fail.

It happen to me that When I move from Alberta To Ontario thay said to me take G2 or go test again when I ask why they told me if your expeirence license from Andother provence less than 2 yr you have to go test or you will get G2 with out test. I did test and I gott G full
at the exit ramp to Lester/uplands, there is a new 50Km/h speed limit. do the examiner expect you to reduce your speed before you exit or maintain 80 and reduce speed after exit

Yes, if you have more than 2 years of driving experience, you can apply for the G test directly after completing the G1. The route for the G test is the same（2 routes）, and there is no parallel parking or emergency stop required during the G test.

That happened with me - they took me on Cahill and I messed up cz I panicked 🫨

When exiting through walkley. What was the speed limit there before turning right to walkley road?
Since the highway is 80, you would gradually show down to 50! Then its 50 all the way back to the test centre again! hope this helps ◡̈

i’m taking mine in july, i got my fulls in NS but when i moved here they changed it to a G2 so I have to do this. ty!

Me! G1 to G road test. No G2. Same route. Airport parkway only. No parallel, no 3point turn, no emergency stop.
