Mr llama this build Inspired me to buy the game again and actually beat the game all the way to ubers. After the few years of bin watching your videos. I understand the game so much more. Thanks for what you do man, been watching since brood war days. Rad to see how far you came! I got a lot of low runes and gems and I need help knowing what to do with them. if anyone is making this character while also making a grail, vidalas full set absolutely slays early in normal on P8. i use cathans helm with two cathan rings and that gives a massive +30 to strength and only requires level 11, and 23 strength to wear the helm. that covers the strength requirements for the vidala bootsr. vidala boots armor and amulet gives +26 dex, which covers your dex for the bow. additionally deaths belt and gloves together gives 30 IAS and 15 all res, and the belt has cannot be frozen on it. vidalas set gives a massive boost to your AR too, making almost every attack hit.
Hey Llama. Love these guided playthrough. I've watched every single one now but always come back to your bowazon. Just a quick question. Will chipped rubies boost the fire contact damage of holy fire like they do exploding arrow on your zon? I'm guessing charms that add the same Ele damage also stack with the attack component?
I just started recently. Level 13. Playing this bow setup. Watched about half hour so far. Will continue.. Learned a bunch. Although the major problem with this is moving and clicking way too fast so nobody can see what to do. Also I don't get the potions. This just seems completely wrong. Buying additional potions and saying to watch so you don't run out. I never bought one potion from the shop ever. In fact just keep 8 on my belt whenever I leave town. And keep a few of each in my chest. I hardly ever use them. So I sell all the potions I find. I have found tons of potions and just sell them all. Because they're rarely needed. There's zero point in wasting money on potions and inventory space hauling additional around. 8 on belt is all that's needed. I have not died yet and my archer homy who I can heal.
@MrLlamaSC unless you knew i've had some sameout strategizing from the launch of diablo 2 ( atleast ever since you were able to order it to Finland ) and i also suppose we've toppled couple of our past HC builds on duels

You say requires but have you seen some of the nonsense mr llama seems to pull off? For your average player melee in hell without grief is all but unplayable but he seams to just wonder around hell chaos sanctuary with punch barb wearing rags like it's a joke lol.
I have missed these guided playthrough so much, I like to play them in the background while I drive for work and listen. Unfortunately your voice is incredibly quiet in this one and I can't hear what you are saying :(

Only works on single player. On pc just type /players x, x being from 1-8. On console go to settings and gameplay, and adjust the slider to whatever suits you

I did a bows play through and it was good for a while and then in Hell act 5 it was just really slow. I switched to psn/charged strike which was wayyy faster
@@magneticdozer yeah I had Buriza, torch, a skiller, laying of hands. Strafe was cool and all but it was just too slow relative to basically all other builds
@@starhunter2770 I've done both. The barb literally ran out of damage in Hell and the Spearazon just had no resist even with treachery for the fade proc. Both were absolute trainwrecks
Why is it important that you only add rubies to your bow if you're using explosion arrows? Other types of damage (from topazes, emeralds and saphires) won't stack?
The others only give dmg to the initial Hit (which can miss and is pretty low compared) For some reason the explosion is the only ability where added fire damage from rubys/ral runes works on the skill(spell)damage
@@PasserMontanus No, doesnt work on freezing arrow as far as i know its just exploding arrow, no idea why it is just that skill ... may be a bug that was kept?
@@BumstiLP aoe based elemental bow skills receive extra splash damage from matching elemental damage, so freezing arrow damage can be boosted with cold damage from your gear :)
Sadly there is noway for me to play this game. Iam a sp gamer only and I played all the time offline with friends (tcp-ip)... Unfortunately, D2R does not support LAN play. This is a change people supported in order to encourage more people to play online. Thx for NOTHING blizzard and thx for NOTHING mr lama. Equipment fire damage sums up to explosion damage of exploding arrow. Best normal low level bow for this build is 3 os bow with 3 x ral.
I like how you walk right up to their face and then shoot'em with your ranged attack

Great stuff as always. I just bought D2R for my switch, first character was a Javazon but now I want to play Bowazon lol.
I know its not very min-maxy but I like the Magic Arrow skill. With enough points, it starts refunding mana instead of decreasing it.
I like it too, especially for maggot lair playthrough, maybe it's not berserk, but still in many case can prove more reliable than the 5% atma proc.

If cold and fire, that was called as Magezon. I had Magezon/SoSo-zon build a lot of time ago. Required very good stuff, lots of skillers & so on.

Are you using your skills lol? Or do you have like 5+ mana per kill? I chug like 200 mana pots in an hour

If you use Shift + [1,2,3,4] you can shortcut to feed to mercenary potions from your belt. I only did a quick search if someone has said this before.

Added to the main attack if the arrow hits and the explosion which always hits. Yup!

Took Duriel fight with lvl26 amazon and lvl 24 polearm barb.Amazon died twice while with barb only merc died.

how do you exit and enter the same game? every time I do it creates a new game
If you play online the maps will reset. If you play single player the maps stay the same until you change difficulty or change the seed.

Started a physical bow recently also and man do you really need the right gear to get it to work in hell.

Bowazons HAS to be the hardest class to solo normal-hell.
Whirlwind barb is probably waaaay harder. At least elemental bowazon doesn’t have to worry about AR and weapon damage

How is Melody better than Harmony?
Unless D2R changed those rune words and made Melody a better word than it was before?
