  • The issue of migrants all over the world and especially in Goa. What should be our attitude towards these migrants especially the poor migrants who are struggling to make both ends meet? What is the mind of the Church and what is our Bible saying about migrants and refugees?

Fr you have given a good message to us but in the Bible it is said we should help the less fortunate ones but at same time we cannot take advantage of poor ( migrants) to create the vote bank what our politicians are doing

God made man in his image and likeness, not as Ghanties, Migrants or Goans. Let us love and respect God's creation.

Father Nelson, nicely spoken topic on migrants in Goa. It is really bad to tag them n speak ill of them. We must not discriminate them but treat them with humanity n dignity. Remembered the hymn, used to sing when in school. we are one in the spirit,we are one in the lord n they,ll know we are Christians by our love by our love. So let us treat them with love n respect.

Yes Fr. our Pope Francis, has great concern for the poor and the migrants, which he tweets daily. With greatful heart, I thank you and may the Almighty God bless you abundantly🙏☦️

You spoke on the topic beautifully father. Yes indeed we speak bad about them but when the need arises we also need them. We cannot think of life without them. It touched when you spoke about the Pakistani boy who travelled walking. I was attending the mass yesterday. I heard you live. Thanks for enlightening us father

Fr. Nelson, very apt homily. As Christians we should behave as Christ would want us . We Goans are spread everywhere in the world, the same way we should accept others.

    Well spoken Fr. Nelson.
This is a sensitive topic...an eye opener. So true how we look down upon the marginalised migrants. If we could only look at them with respect. The Salesians are working for the upliftment of the migrants under the banner Don Bosco for Migrants. God bless their work.

We goans love people, that's what we were thought by the church , the hight of corruption after the Portuguese left us our owen politicians have failed us. Go deep in the villages our owen goans have no food on the table, what has the church done about that? The time is here we are living in a hell on earth, and no Shepard to fallow.
