Just found you and have already folded what will be my first glue book. Thanks, great video on that; but more importantly thank you for telling that mom to answer her child. Things like that drive the rest of us insane. She needed to be brought up out of her fog. I'll never understand how people become deaf to their own kids like they do. As to the wet pants thing, welcome to the club. 70 and childless but that's becoming an every day occurrence around here.

Lawdy yes! So much in my head. Gluing paper to other paper helps with the anxiety. I’ve been doing ICADs and running ahead making some backgrounds. I love making little glue books from magazines like this. I filled one with a collection of coffee related memes.

i was at a clinic getting a cyst in my throat checked. i was in line to schedule another appointment. the lady in front of me had a baby on the counter, kind of fussing, and a boy, maybe 5-ish, who had some energy. i could see the mom was getting flustered. so i helped out. (note: if i see a small child in the store i will say hi and try to make them laugh.) i started talking to him about his batman slippers. they were kind of cool, to be honest. for the next 10 minutes or so we were talking about batman, then on how batman could beat zombies, then how if he was a zombie he'd be a fast one, not a slow boring one. the mom kept looking over at us and smiling at me (i could tell it was a thank you). right when she got done, zombie kid demonstrated how he'd attack me and turn me into a zombie. as they were walking out she says "you don't attack people and bite them. i NEVER thought i'd ever say that in my life." i responded with "he was a zombie, of course he was going to attack, i totally expected to get attacked." the kid "see mom, i had to attack" she just laughed as they left the office. :)

Luv this idea, I made 2 mini glue books from an already harvested magazine. I have some of those stickers and find them difficult to get the backing off of them. I did get a giggle out of your sped up voice while you struggled with them...lol. The struggle is real 😂

Oh you poor thing I know exactly what you're dealing with! I never had children, got married for the first time at 51 I'm now 59 and that big one is just a few months away, but every hard sneeze it good belly laugh and I'm in trouble. Not often enough or big enough amount to warrant extra padding but never a fun time. As someone who dealt with anxiety and panic attacks as an older teen, I applaud you for your amazing attitude about these embarrassing life situations and not only giggle about it but share it with us. Great glue book Nicole, looks so relaxing.
Two tips for getting the backing off of stickers like that: #1 at a corner, or a small point (like the end of a leaf) bend a tiny bit back and forth and it will usually separate. #2 Take a straight pin, or an open safety pin, and tease the point between the layers. Hope that helps😊
