There was definitely a uniqueness from the music of the time. I Would have loved to have seen a NIN "Unplugged" session, dark & organic; all found sounds, natural percussion, Foley Room Shenanigans. This definitely takes me back, thanks
Have you ever heard the CRC Sessions? If not, I highly suggest you check that out... it’s about as close as we are gonna get to what you described. Very chill live performance from The Fragile era that’s very reminiscent of the videos / performances on the Still collection. It’s a bootleg, but it’s soundboard quality so it sounds great.
I Miss the analogue and organic parts of NIN - it's so massively digital now. I like where the two meet but will always favour the more instrumental driven sounds.

Sometimes I think how important NIN's music and your art are to me and I want to cry. I feel so thankful.
