"HIS SHIRT IS UNTUCKED!!!" Is the perfect encapsulation of who CP3 is as a player and a person. It's like he's constantly working to undermine any quality or skill that might otherwise cause you to respect him.
These are indeed all smart moments, but they’re quite recent. In the old days, Larry Bird knew so well the Celtic arena that he would defensively force the attacking players into dead floor spots for easy steals.
Never heard of untuck jersey penalty until this video! What a brilliant mastermind to get the tech foul off that and the game winning score with 1.8 seconds left amazing

COACHES: PAY ATTENTION; you’re about to learn something... When a team intentionally fouls your worst free throw player in a close game, here is how you counter that strategy: As soon as that foul occurs, you have your player fall to the floor “injured” and stay down. You can then enter the court for your injured player, at which time, you must make a substitution, and you do so with a player who can actually make free throws. Now, it’s been awhile since I’ve officiated games, (I’m a former high school and college official), so I can’t recall exactly how the rule ready. You either have to have your sub shoot the free throws, or you can choose which players shoots them. I’m thinking you can choose which player shoots the free throw. So, once that has been done, your “injured” player can return to the game on the next dead ball. If they intentionally foul him again, repeat the process. There are no rules saying how many times a sub can enter the game for an injured player. And there are no rules restricting how many times your worst free throw player vocal be “injured”. As a longtime high school and college official, and as a player, I’ve seen coaches routinely foul the opposing team’s worst free throw shooter. But coaches never, EVER use this legal strategy to counter it.
The fox missed free throw was next level as he did it off the front but timed going for it until it after it hit so it was legal. Usually they arc the miss but that allows defenders to block out better.
I always thought Luke Kornet's goofy hops 10ft away from the defender were really dumb, but after seeing this, I realize that he's actually a genius. I question the efficacy of the tactic, but still a really smart idea nonetheless.
it looks goofy af but now that i think about it go shoot some threes but have ur friends block ur view of the rim the amout of times its gonne throw u off is probs wild
@6:04 what exactly is impressive about that? I dont know basketball rules but it looks like the other team just straight up guarded the wrong side of the court and Kobe just ran it in for an easy score......
i've tried the crossover on all of my friends but it never works. also i also tried lebron's no look pass but my pals anticipated the move. can a street pickup basketball player be better than the NBA players?
@5:30 you can talk about luke kornets amazing trick to block the shooters view of the rim but you could also mention the person shooting was diallo who averages 25% from 3 and after that its okoro twice who averages 30% from 3 try that with stephen curry and youre gonna stop wasting ur energy on the jump real quick.
Quite a few smart players have become coaches over the years. Just to mention a *FEW* - Tom Heinsohm, Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Don Nelson - and that's just a PARTIAL list for the CELTICS players that managed it!
I know a little about NBA, I know some of the greater names, and I like 2 teams, Lakers and Bulls, for Jordan and Kobe, these videos are really interesting.

That's where home court advantage comes from, is stuff like this. Even more so way before birds time, since most courts where different
Dime keep doing the good work I love your vids🙂
Sheesh. Paul made it so many times on this list 🔥

ref shouldnt have called that imo play wasnt even live. players are allowed to tuck their jersey in when the ball is dead.

So many Jordan moments you could've mentioned, but I guess it'd never end if you start going back so far.
Yeah, it should have included older eras. Otherwise it needs to mention of the 2000s or something.
I always thought Luke Kornet's goofy hops 10ft away from the defender were really dumb, but after seeing this, I realize that he's actually a genius. I question the efficacy of the tactic, but still a really smart idea nonetheless.
That’s gotta throw off the shooter’s rhythm too I imagine.

Morant wasn’t going AFK. He was observing the field to see which opponent is ready for a pass, anticipated the pass and made his move
@6:04 what exactly is impressive about that?
I dont know basketball rules but it looks like the other team just straight up guarded the wrong side of the court and Kobe just ran it in for an easy score......

curry averages between 40-45% and that aint corner threes, thats deep, stepback, fade, moving, one-legged, sideways, halfcourt, double teamed, faceguarded and fouled.
I'd say it's even more amazing that Steven Adams threw a perfect full-court pass to get that OT for OKC
5:15 KAWHI SMILING 😱

De'aaron's free throw was lane violation. You can't step on the free throw line before the ball hits the rim

7:14 Luka traveled when he fell down. His pass wasn’t relevant if the rules are actually called in the NBA
I always thought Nate's tip recovery should be legal because once the ball is tipped shouldn't it be live
Ofc!
Bosh to LeBron for dunk should be there that was insane
Nate Robinson's jump ball was the smartest play of this video. Is that legal? If it is why isn't it done regularly in the NBA & College?
You aren't allowed to touch the ball immediately after going in when you go out of bounds.
That's a terrible coaching job in that hornets Lakers Kobe inbound play. What are you thinking 🤔
3:07 I mean it was a good play but that celebration was SUS
You meant the hornets can take a nap, not the blazers.. blazers scored, hornets fell asleep
