Bell ringers have been often seen as having a hump back like in the hunch back of Notre Dame. @MrUNIXman The rope is usually slightly longer. It doesnt effect the sound much because you have the whole tower to vibrate off. I love it when the tower starts to shake and wobble though.

Very nice! There many be no other towers like this in the western US, but there are three not far from Seattle: one in Victoria (Anglican cathedral) and two in Vancouver (Holy Rosary Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, Mission - both Catholic).
One million US dollars will cover that for your parish church, assuming you already have a suitable tower ready to go for the bells and structural work.

The difference is that this touch was the first blows ever on the ring of bells, and also the first time the band had ever rung together. Under these circumstances, allowing plenty of time for the rounds to settle is essential, and the band did a fantastic job.

No. Trinity Church in New York has a nice peal of bells and so does Washington National Cathedral.
Videoing is not prohibited. This is indeed the only full-circle ring in the USA West of Texas.
