Love this version. Working a baby dress with instructions to accomplish the same, but so dang convoluted - and yet not enough basic info, like the crochet cast on for one side of the pocket (which was more difficult than it needed to be), as well as how many needles to use (pattern only VAGUELY alluded to using one dpn to capture stitches from both sides with no real info on how to disembark said cast-on stitches), and then…some crazy stitches at the beginning and end of knitting each side. Next time, I’m with YOU on this! THANK YOU
she picked up the stitches directly above and below the blue yarn. Once the blue yarn was removed, it then allowed her to work both the front and back of the stitches (when she k1, sl1) to create the pocket. Hope that helps.

Fascinating, but I didn’t really understand what happened after the blue yarn was removed-seemed like magic to me 🙃🙂
