This really reminds me of Among the Sleep. You play from a toddler's perspective in that one too. I love that. It feels extra terrifying to play as such a small and young character. It really makes you feel helpless.
It really feels like Among the Sleep. Drunk parent, arguments, looking for toys like in the Prologue DLC. But this game omg is amazing. Hope we can get a story explained video from Mike.
I think the story line was good but it's confusing as to why it took place in a daycare and why would the monster "dad" be chasing you around in the daycare. It does feel smashed together with not much of a dialogue as to how you ended up to where you are. The beginning made sense with it taking place in the home. I could see the ending with the monsters hand raising up as a form of "trauma" ptsd almost like?
Well the kid couldn't tell reality from fiction anymore. And in the end you could hear the dad calling out to the kid to "come out", since he "caused this". From that i assume the child was being chased irl and also died (as portrayed by the white flash in the end, commonly used to portray death) and the crib thing being a memory flashing before his eyes.

I thought it was an orphanage and Aiden was trying to run away from there. But it was at night and he was so scared that he kept seeing monster father everywhere
more games need to do this. the genuine horror that comes with a young child trying to comprehend bad things in the world around them is so good. in most games you're like "why would you go here in the first place?" but in the perspective of a child, they don't know any better
Is it hard to be a parent? I’m 24 and kids aren’t necessarily on my mind at the moment but I’ve always wanted to adopt a child so they can have a loving family but at the same time kids stress me out because i used to babysit and it was the most stressful thing in my life.
This game is a lot similar to Among the Sleep. Except it's the dad that's the monster. It's definitely telling how Aiden is trying to understand the reality of his situation. He knew what happened it's just he was trying to process it. Even though I'm not playing the game it still freaked me out!
12:36 yeah I think it’s the dad too like in little nightmares how the child is having nightmares until he recovers happy memories of the mother and then stops having them. I think it’s going to be a bit like that
Definitely gave me Among the sleep vibes. It was really good how the parents is similar to Among the sleep's main character's parents but only opposite. The mother was the monster there while the father was the teddy bear, but in this one it was like the opposite kind of. It's a bit of a twist to this one. I think it was great and I wonder if there's going to be a continuation after the cliff hanger in the end or if that's it for this one. I think it's really cool to see small stories like these too just playing as toddlers and experiencing issues in the family which makes the baby seeing things differently from what's happening. This one kind of felt like there was no happy ending. It was a great game nonetheless.

As a person who collects dolls: its always so funny to me that people find dolls scary or make horror games. Bc I can assure you 90% of children don’t have porcelain dolls. And even doll collectors who aren’t children (like myself for instance) don’t collect them. Still a pretty good horror game tho :]
Doll collector here too! I understand both worlds. If you believe in the supernatural, transference of energy into things, it makes perfect sense. Though the doll would be just the vehicle, anything technically could be. On the flip side I love dolls and collect all kings, from porcelain, paper, to plastic, and yarn.
Hello! I’ve really liked watching your videos and I have one suggestion of a game that you can play! You don’t have to but I’ll explain how it works. The game is called Maude’s diner or a game made by zed technichian it’s about a diner going in debt and are going to lose the diner until a mysterious shadow family appeared at Maude’s diner wanting to eat food but they explained they came from a mysterious land and there are shadow catchers so each night they’ll pay a lot but make sure to not get caught by the shadow catcher there is another door where the shadow catcher can enter but make sure he doesn’t find you. I really hope you’d take this recommendation I wish I will see on the channel. Edit: I think it’s called Maude’s diner I know it’s one of the zed technichian games so yeah

Crazy seeing this game when I almost lived through what the mother did. Thankfully my daughter WAS awake and screaming. It was the only thing that stopped her dad. That was just over 17 years ago. Thankfully that was the straw that broke the camel’s back and I filed for divorce shortly after. He wasn’t a saint, and I know this is fucked up, but I’m actually thankful he drank himself to death. He had no control and became very violent as my daughter got older *because* he wouldn’t stop drinking. He was severely diabetic so he died 3 years ago with open and half drunk bottles of alcohol and beer cans around him. They found him 3 days later. The worst part was he was my elderly friends care giver, and my friend who broke his hip was there the entire time unable to reach the phone my kids dad put out of reach. So my friend died a week after he was found. I know, it’s really really shitty. I wasn’t allowed to see my friend anymore, so I didn’t check up on him like I used to, and I know that my friend wouldn’t be dead if my kids dad wasn’t there. Since then, I’ve been at war with his parents trying to get my kid back. They have a lawyer and paid for my daughter’s so the judge didn’t listen to me and I was labeled a jobless drug addict while I was working nights as a CNA. Me and my daughter are near the end of this bullshit, but at least I know he isn’t there anymore drinking around her and hurting her. And if you’re wondering, I filed a restraining order between him and my daughter and the custody judge didn’t even acknowledge the restraining order. One where my daughter told child services that she saw him hitting me when I had no idea she did. Even after our divorce, he was still aggressive, but he had family in law and lawyers. I’ve been dealing with this all on my own. Death was the only way he STOPPED. I feel bad that my daughter doesn’t have a father anymore, but she’s safer now, and so am I. I’m still alive….. thank god.

Don’t worry, it’s not a bad thing to be glad he is gone because now you and your daughter can feel safe knowing he will never hurt you again. I hope you’re doing okay and this was so brave of you to write. If I ever see you in person at some point in my life, I wanna give you a big hug because you deserve it. I hate knowing that some humans can be so cruel and I’m sorry you had to deal with a horrible person… 🫂

This games a lot like "Bad parenting" ngl. The kid has mental issues, his parents fight, he has to run away from a monster thats ACTUALLY his dad, only difference I see is that the child is dead already. Also the name fits the characters physical appearnce like in Bad parenting Mr. Red Face, who represents a father who has a "red" face when in a drunken state and then Mr. Red belly who is drunk but has a red shirt that represents the "red" belly part.
I still kind of feel like this is Funny park 2 but they change the name for some sort of unknown reason. Unless this game is completely original, and the mascot was changed for this game I still think it’s funny park two but might need some confirmation for it. What do you think, Mike? Is my theory somewhat true or am I just terrorizing for nothing?
