The X20 is their “flagship”
wait to october 6th and november 11th
@@craigpodsprojames2500 bought new 8.3 5G 8Gb/128Gb for 190€ last week...new phone from operator...they sell these out because X-series came out and noone is paying for older 8.3 5G
Would say its cheapest mid-high tier phone ive bought in long time...
@@jkarra2334 the new X & G phones suck; but the older #.# models are okay.
Just had a look at the specs for the 8.3 and apart from the 60hz LCD it's a very good device, better than the X20
I'm really a big FAN of NOKIA , and i do like the REGULAR UPDATES , but i wish they would make a much POWERFULLER phone, at the moment I'm thinking of getting PIXEL 6/PRO.
I am thinking of getting pixel 6 as well. I don't think nokia is gonna go for flagship anytime soon and acc to rumours pixel 6 will be getting 5 years of os updates which is long time coming for Android market
I'm still hoping that you can talk to them directly to the HMD about our concern in the philippines. Some of the smartphone are not available in our country for example the Nokia 8.3 5G,the Nokia XR20,Nokia laptop, smartwatch etc.
I feel you bro
I will never buy a new budget smart phone ever again, you are much better off with a refurbished former flagship from like 2018 the specs are still probably much better, I am still happy with my p20 Pro I bough last year for £160, the speed and battery life is still at the top, a iPhone 12 Pro max is honestly not that much better for the price gap.
Wow. If they offered higher specs on this, i wouldn't be looking for any other phone. Let's see. 3.5mm jack. Check. Expandable memory. Check. I mean i am considering gaming phones such as rog 5, red magic 6s pro, black shark 4, which all have the jack but not an expandable memory.
The current phone i have is the note 9 with 512 gb sd card bumping the storage all the way to 1 tb. And of course the headphone jack. We just need to convince Nokia to bump their specs up considering many companies are opening up opportunities for competition because of their greed.
Honestly, HMD Global can keep the Nokia brand alive pretty well. Although the processors, displays and cameras are still very, very mediocre compared to Motorola, Xiaomi and Oppo offerings.
True
I love it 😍
Good review, I'm really interested with wallpapers. How can I get them?
I like the way u describe the mobiles keep it up lol
Does this phone have Dual Sight in camera?? Thank you in advance.
S ofcourse
I always love nokia
My mum and I are going in tomorrow to check out this phone for her. Her Samsung has been playing up for some time then found out this morning the recent update of Samsung phones has caused me to discuss with her changing brand phones. She wants a phone with 5g. Even if it came out in 2021 and we are now in 2023, I think she will get till 2025-2026 out of the phone then there will be even cheaper phones out. She has said for months she wants a phone that's similar to my phone. My phone is the Nokia X20 but on a budget, which makes me think of the g50. Her budget was $100aud-$300aud. The g50 is on sale for $297. Other places it's $498.. I think it will do for a retired grandmother.
is nokia bringing out more in oct?
Hi there, my current phone (A21) stopped working today and I’m looking for an upgrade. For the same price I can get an A32 5G or The Nokia G50 5G. Which do you recommend?
Great vid, keep up the good work👍🏽👍🏽
Hey, don't know if opinion from random and not tech reviewer is worth for you much but I personally would go for Nokia. Better processor with clean Android so overall better performance, better 5G bands, longer SoT and better build quality I would say
@@Viefer5366 Thanks for the advise 👍🏽👍🏽. I ordered it this morning. Will pick it up at the store in about 2 hours. I’ve used Samsung before and liked it, but I also like the fact that this phone has a guaranteed 2 years of OS upgrades and also double the storage.
Nokia never fails to disappoint me every release this year lol
Hi, did you do a follow up review?
Hello there Nokia x100 or the g50 which one do u think is better.
Fair phone for it's price.
200 quid and still hd+....... come ooooooooooon, Nokia!
Is there any chance you could do a review of the sekonda smartwatch PLEASE
You can get rid of the Google search bar by using a launcher. I tried severa and settled on the Microsoft Launcher.
aww you should have put up shots of pics taken directly from the phone, that's what i wanted to see
does it have a headphone jack?
Nokia still not figured out how to reclaim the throne...
You get nothin' for free here Popeye.
@@Ruben901 GIMME SOME CH0NCH0N!
The day they come up with a great display and more customisation and optical fingerprint scanner....I'm going for it.
they did make one its called Nokia 9 Pureview though from what i heard its kinda bug and do to its sales being extremely low i think they dropped it. when it came out it had the best display and a camera on a phone.
what is the lockscrean wallpaper name sir ??? can u share please
@Tech Spurt where did you buy it;
Y nowadays nokia only give hd+ display, no fhd+😕
Hope you gonna let us Kronos if it has a display alt mode ..
“Bit of a Palm filler”. Lol love your accent man, and your Nokia/Motorola mid range phone reviews. Lol it’s amazing how many models those two brands come up with every year. Crazy. I’d like to get a Nokia android smartphone for nostalgia purposes. Just don’t know which one! 🤨🤦🤣
I hope it would available soon in the philippines.
Can you shoot video in wider aspect ratio instead of the usual 16:9,
When you going to test the motorola g62 5g phone?
Where do you find these wallpapers please?
good but even better if very important features are emphasized, eg, RAM, waterproof, non-removable battery, RAM is of major importance.
I use a Nokia phone, why am I just getting this notification for the video review?
great price point no need for £1K phones or even £500 now tbh
You'll get full HD 90 hz phones with punchhole at that price point already, even Amoleds... This is another crap phone from Nokia no one who knows something about phones need...
Hey I'm running a note 8 with a 1TB sd card even tho is says 512 as the max is there anyway to tell if the 1TB would work with this phone
Worth from Nokia 7.1? Nokia 7.1 has 1080p screen resolution and G50 has 720p and bigger screen. Please any answer. Thanks! :)
Do long term update guarantees even matter when many people update there phone every year or two?
Yes, because only fools update every 2 years
@@JohnRock14 Don't know if you've noticed but the world is full of fools. iPhone 13 anyone?

Hi,
Thank you for the intro to the phone. Apart from the 2 years OS updates and 3 years security updates it's difficult to justify getting this phone.
Perhaps I'm just becoming very jaded in my dotage but 720p, nipple notch, mediocre performance, massive chin, and the size & weight of the Kraken (TBBT reference there).
I might save my pennies for 2 years and go over to the dark side (Apple if you're wondering) mega expensive, utterly boring, and destined to stay with you forever as a constant reminder of desperation.
Informative & entertaining video as always, thank you.
Take care, keep safe
Apple iPhone mini is better than this if you want compact phone
@@darksoul6188 I don't particularly want a compact phone, one of my main uses of my phone is reading - news feeds & books. A larger screen is better for my particular purposes.

I'm pretty disappointed in Nokia with their newer phones, like this one
Why? Have you already used one?
@@bennyabdullaev9355 because it's ass. 720 display in 2021? Come on man. No fast charging, lower mid range processor while Chinese phones have much better processors and displays.
@@richandbroke2572 18W is pretty fast for the price point
SD 480 Is comparable to SD 720
720p and the huge size are terrible however
@@Majiggapulusu 18 W is a standard charging now not fast charging, every Xiaomi, realme etc brands have at least 33 W fast charging in this price segment.
And about processors 720 even though fine is a yesteryear processor. All new budget phones come with 732g or higher.
Add the bulky design and heavy weight to the mix and below par display. It's not it.
HD+ is super let down for this price point.
hey, what film is this ? 0:21
No Full HD on 6.8!!
Ik, it’ll look like a mess
Can you please compare the Moto g50 vs this one?
I just need a basic reliable phone , this would suit me fine if I hadn't got a Moto g9 plus, sticking with this til it breaks

2 - when the results come up, click on 'Images'
3 - do a 3 finger touch on screen for screenshot.
4 - wait for the little actions box to sod off from lower left corner
5 - carry on with the rest of yous search for 'cars', scrolling down, finding an image and then repeating steps from '3'..
Keep scrolling, finding images of "***" and "screen shotting" do this about 6 to 10 times (to be sure)...

Yeah, I heard the sane when I was regularly checking for the A11 update progress. It annoys me, big companies like this prioritise pumping out new models seemingly each month, but updates... Their attitude comes across as "updates?... Yeah whatever"... 😒
