A GODLY 500 Stony Tomb Runs - D2R Ladder Season 2

- I ran the level 85 area Stony Tombs five hundred times in Diablo 2 Resurrected! I ended up getting insanely lucky and crossing off three items on my holy grail list.
Drop chance specifics:
- Drop odds were calculated from unique monsters within the stony tombs with 519% magic find in a 1 player game
- You'll notice that Maxroll consistently has better drop odds than Silospen, this is likely due to how each calculator presents the data i.e. Maxroll may present the odds per monster kill whereas Silospen may present the data per individual item roll chance - but I can't comment on this with confidence, it's just something I read on Reddit
- There are also some items which I only show Maxroll odds, this is because Silospen doesn't seem to have been updated since The Stony Tombs was upgraded to a level 85 area
- Finally, these odds really need to be taken with a grain of salt. I'd say some of them are straight up wrong, for example facets being apparently four times rarer than Griswold's redemption is absolute nonsense!

Take those drop odds with a grain of salt, some of them are a bit whack - for example facets being apparently over 4 times rarer than Griswold's redemption is absolute nonsense. The only truly reliable one is 8:15
I wonder if it’s the max roll ones are wrong? I haven’t looked in the txt files myself, but apparently how the game goes through the treasure classes isn’t what

@@sergeles Me neither, but i did find an Astreon's ward...Funny. On other cases, set diadem many times, unique 1 time (online, nonladder, and it was eth)

That's a great roll on the COA! I've never found anything _that_ rare, but when you do get those top-end items to drop then it's so much better when you get a great roll too. Made up for you 😀

I've linked your vids to friends who started with D4 and don't know/understand what I mean when I say finding items in D4 isn't fun.
Working for finding cool loot (and then being able to admire/trade it) in D2 is SOOO much more satisfying than legendaries spewing out all over the place in D4.
Curious what your take is on D4 actually. Would be interested to seeing you make a vid on your take of what you like and dislike about D4 as a massive D2 fan (like myself).
I've once seen a video explaining the magic find percentage and how to effectively get the most out of it. It tops of around 300% MF. After that it makes sense to kill more monsters rather (with better gear instead of MF) than getting more MF. Maybe you could look into it. +500 seems like a lot! Awesome video as always man.
Yeah you're 100% right in that magic find does have massive diminishing returns, and there comes a point where you don't want to keep stacking it if it's slowing down your kill speed. This sorceress was melting everything with her fireballs though so it was okay, switching out some gear for slightly higher dps but lower MF wouldn't have sped me up significantly!

I have only encountered coa with one socket.. really needs to be two all the time. Unless it had +2 to all skills on it there’s not enough reason to use a single socket one in the endgame. A socketed shako is the gold standard for most endgame builds. and gives enough physical damage reduction

Since barbs don’t struggle with resistance as much as other classes the all res isn’t super important but still helpful but had that rolled mf instead of all res that would be a godly helm. Still a heck of a roll

It's not, in fact, it's more common in SP with /players. Have around 1k hours in SP, everything ladder/online drops, so does SP. :)

@@koreazilla I don't know. I'd say its much higher than 1 ber. 2/20, which opens up slots for rings/amuletts, all-res, 30 (!) strenght which means you won't have to put in any points in strenght with enigma, larzuk it for one socket, this is INSANELY good. Damage reduced on top.
Can't get much better, only 2 sockets, but then it would go for 20 Ber I'd think. Might be one of the best rare tiaras ever then.
