When you are using essential oils make sure to research their effect on dogs. Some essential oils that are fine or beneficial for humans can be highly toxic for dogs (example: tea tree oil), so please do some research and be careful for your animals sake!
I really hoping they're not scamming you with a pyramid scheme :( They pray on people who are really sick and would do anything to feel better! I hate to say it but it's entirely possible that your friends know the products aren't good but know they will get a kickback from you buying from them- they're making money off of your illness. They will literally change what they can do depending on who they're selling to. I had one messaging me about a weight lost product, I said I have GP and I need to gain weight and then suddenly that same product worked perfectly for weight gain and stomach paralysis- it's all a scam! They also are not regulated or approved and have no governing body to make sure the products are safe for the use and consumption and to make sure there are no dangerous ingredients in- you could be having heavily diluted oils that are being sold as high quality. Also you need to be so super careful to be sure of any reactions to your meds as that can be so incredibly dangerous! Seriously take a look at this blog that shows you how it all works, it's well worth a read. It's talking about one company in particular but I can guarantee every MLM pyramid scheme runs just like this, they all follow the same "business model". I'd recommend getting your friends to look into it too before they get themselves in debt buying kits and promotional products only for people to find out it's a false company and refuse to be buying from them. ellebeaublog.com/poonique/ $500 for a starter pack?!?!?!?! Red flag red flag!!!
I would totally buy merch for that .. so cute .. I would love a hoodie that said “ Things that make you go hmmm” . Love you Amy ❣️ let us know how you like the oil she gave you .
Just please, please please remember that alternative medicine can only be used as a kind of support od traditional medicine, not instead of that. Whatever you will be told just check in with a doctor and ask if that's okay. I've heard lots of stories of people who stopped their treatment to use alternative medicine and even though at the begining it sometimes seemed to work later on their health would collapse :c just be carefull
That is a hell of a lot of money for essential oils! You can get one on Amazon for £20 the young living starter kit in the UK is £139.80 ! $500 for a starter kit makes my alarm bell go off! Just be careful!
essential oils can be a great supplement to modern medicine, however in a lot of cases they can not replace it. i'm not sure how pure the auracacia oils are but i haven't heard anything bad. i personally like them as they are affordable and effective. please be careful with essential oil companies as unfortunately a lot are scams or pyramid schemes xoxo
Iv bought some essential oils on amazon, i think they work the name is : art naturals, i bought tea trea oil and it did wonders ( i used it to help with some scarring) they sent it with 2 signature oild
If you want to try something natural for your pain maybe look into accupuncture it works pretty well. I have used it for my endometriosis pain and it did lessen
I have been going to acupuncture to help with pain and energy levels associated with POTS and post pacemaker surgery and it has really helped (made the swelling around my scar go down pretty much instantly) . Hope you can find a reputable company to go with for your essential oils. I firmly believe that natural therapies can go hand in hand with modern medicine.
yessss essential oils are so soothing!! while obviously they aren't cures for things, but different herbs DEFINITELY have different benefits for your body!!
I tried Young Living oils and Doterra.. I’ve tried so many times wanting them to work... it did not work. I did everything to use them correctly. I hope you have better luck. I wanted nothing more than these oils to work. I actually ended up in the hospital from using the oils instead of getting proper medication. Good luck..some ppl are too sick or have too many illnesses, like myself and like you, that it just won’t work..and it’s a multi billion dollar industry because they prey on ppl like us who want nothing more than to get better..not all of the oil companies are bad.. but young living.. just do your own research .please.
A friend of mine got sucked into the young living scheme and it hurt her financially. If you are interested in essential oils then your best route would be to go to a natural health food store or somewhere like Wholefoods. NOW brand is a well known brand that can also be purchased on Amazon, though there are several good safe brands that aren't that expensive. Heck you can actually make your own!
Be careful if you do the things that make you go hmm merch, the “things that make you go hmm” segment in Brainiac(back in the good ol days) might have some sort of copyright
Hi!! I'm new to your channel. I diffuse lavender oil just for good smells lol. But I know doltera and Young living are good essential oil brands. They may be cheaper than the one in this video. And I just got a diffuser at Target for 15 us dollars. Just wanted to try and help. I have never noticed a medical benefits from them, I have eds and pots as well. But I do know that lavender has helped me sleep at night and peppermint oil and lemon oil has helped with nausea tremendously.
I have friends here in the states who LOVE Young Living! That I know of, around 5 or 6 families I know (more than acquaintance) use them quite religiously. Of those, 3 of the mothers sell the oils and other young living things. I personally am skeptical but they smell nice. The comments are correct of the people in the company who have the pyramid. That's what attracts many to work in the company because you can sell to a quota and be a different level seller (there's like gold, platinum, etc) and that comes with different amounts of money and benefits. Your friends (and other sellers like them and people I know) may not truly understand the company. For all we know, young living is lying or maybe they're the honest ones. Orange and tea tree aren't good for some animals. Research A LOT before using them.
I diffuse lavender in my room because it smells nice but it doesn't really help me sleep better or have a calming effect. One of my mom's friends gave me an oil blend called TummyGize (or DiGize) for my tummy issues (not early satiety, nausea, etc). For a while I put it on my stomach every day. Some days I thought it worked. Who knows! ALWAYS BE WARY. The company/people who are trying to sell you their products are giving you information about the oils. Their research could be biased and it's important to think about that. It's good someone who was previously in the medical field turned to oils, makes it a little less sketchy ig. Research for yourself, understand what you're getting into. Have fun as well because there are some nice scents out there you can diffuse together that gives the effect of a candle...I diffuse lavender and different oils with it, makes my room smell quite lovely.
The word you are looking for is Naturopath. 😊 I have used essential oils for many years as an adjunct to treatments and therapies for my various health issues. I mix up my own blends and they do help. Mood especially and for pain. They are not a panacea cure all, but they do help. Knowing what can and can't be used for certain conditions is essential. It's good you are embracing more natural therapies, but still do so with your medical teams knowledge. I wish there was something to help gastroparesis..mine has exherbated badly. I'm looking at tubes..hoping not. Presently just tolerating Ensure (well some of the time). 😢 If you would like any info advice please contact me. 😊
Please have a google about Young Living and the FDA and stuff like that! I am undecided but what I did read/found on TH-cam freaked me out a bit :( I still get my lavender oil from my friend who sells Young living but yeah it just freaked me out
I want to preface this comment by saying I have hEDS, and am currently working on a Ph.D in genetics and genomic sciences. If you really want to try using essential oils to supplement your medication, they should not cost you hundreds of dollars. Look on amazon, woolzie makes amazing essential oils of all kinds and they are reasonably priced. I use the sleep blend because it smells good and helps me relax. They also have a blend for muscle pain, which helps but only for maybe half an hour, no where near the efficacy of real pain medicine. I have found no essential oils that help with gastric problems, and wouldn’t believe it unless I found a reproducible peer-reviewed source for that claim. The only thing that has helped with my stomach pain has been taking an SSRI (which I started taking for chronic depression but had the amazing bonus of helping my stomach problems). As a scientist, I wish essential oils and super foods and all of those things actually worked because it would be a lot cheaper than having to do drug discovery experiments on thousands of molecules, but unfortunately essential oils don’t do anything beyond smell nice, make you relaxed, or induce a placebo effect.
I luv essential oils. And i have never used that brand. But also I'm cheap. There are loads of oils on amazon. Save money and buy bigger bottles once you find one you like. I use peppermint for my migraine disorder.
There is a time, place, and use for everything. Essential oils can be wonderful, but just because something is natural doesn't mean it's safe or helpful for everyone. I do have some essential oils I love, but I've had others cause severe anaphylaxis. Proceed with caution since you have MCAS and don't try a whole bunch of different ones at once. I would do a little test with each one and make sure you aren't allergic to them.
Enjoy the world of essential oils however you can afford it or how much u can afford, hope everything goes well and for today's things that make you go hmmm it's got me going hmmm🤔 tell Tom keep them coming if it's not too much of a bother cause we're loving them.
I would get whatever essential oils you thing you’ll need then just buy a cheaper diffuser off amazon or something! Mines from amazon and works great!💝
You look so pretty in this vlog. I’ve never used essential oils, but if it is $500 for 11 oils and a diffuser, it just sounds like a pyramid scheme or something. That seems insanely expensive and if you are like me, you don’t have that kinda cash just laying around. If you try it I hope it’s helpful!!!
Peppermint, Wintergreen and Copaiba and of course PanAway are great for pain. DiGize and peppermint and lemon great for stomach. Lavender, Thieves an RC are great for breathing and cold symptoms. There are so many uses.
Ditto all the concerns about Young Living. But I do find that essential oils work well for some things. I make my own soap and body products using essential oils. You can buy high quality essential oils for much much cheaper than what Young Living charges.
I would recommend doTerra essential oils over Young Living. They source their oils from the countries where they naturally grow. They help improve the lives of the local people and have a charity to help them.
I use doterra oils. I seen a lot of improvements from them. They are more expensive but they do have a good purity. They set up farm in the country that plants from oils orginally grown from. Improving wellbeing and community.
I know this has been written a million times in the comments by now... but please be careful with the essential oils rabbit hole! Idk about Australia, but where I am most companies pushing them are set up like MLM schemes. Not saying don’t try oils at all, but I’d recommend proceeding with caution. A natural remedy that I’ve seen work for multiple full-body chronic pain patients is cannabis oil. Specifically THC at night and CBD during the day. Just for a real life example, I do personally know a multiple sclerosis patient that was talked into ditching her doctor perscibed pain treatments for essential oils prescribed by a Naturopath (her traditional Doctor prescribed pain manament involved THC and CBD oil combined with more traditional treatments). Consequentially a lot of her symptoms came back worse than they had been in years and resulted in her experience a lot of pain that could have been avoided... Once she went back to her doctor prescribed method of pain management, her pain levels went back to how they were previously and no bad flare ups since! On a different note... so glad to see you doing so much better!! Keep kicking EDS butt girl! ❤️
Young Living are very dodgy as company. However, certain essential oils can have benefits. You can purchase quality essential oils from many pharmacies and health supply stores for a fraction of the YL prices.
Essential oils is a great idea, Love them!! Get a diffuser. However! As many others have said, stay away! from Young Living and DoTerra. Both are MLM, multi leveling marketing and schemes! They both will say anything to get you to buy more. You can easily buy pure essential oil at much lower cost from regular companies. One is Aura Cacia.
Young living has lots of things: toothpaste, hair products, cleaning supplies (I recommend Thieves for almost everything), makeup, "medicinal" like things, oils, and more!
Have you tried CBD oil? Helps me loads with EDS chronic pain
When you are using essential oils make sure to research their effect on dogs. Some essential oils that are fine or beneficial for humans can be highly toxic for dogs (example: tea tree oil), so please do some research and be careful for your animals sake!
Mani DiGehenna yes! Cats too!

I love YL, I just dont do the "business" side of it. I just use their oils
That’s a good plan! Their oils are lovely, there’s no denying that
Was thinking why you getting shorts it’s raining and cold in England forgetting you live in Australia think it’s the accent 😂
You can get essential oils for soooooo much cheaper then that, that is crazy
The ones that are cheaper arent as good of a quality

Try Eden's Garden instead - it's not an MLM and their oils are very affordable.
Would love to know more about essential oils too especially ones relating to IBS/migraine. x

My favorite oil from young living is lavender. I never leave the house without it.
Homeopathic medicine is what you meant to say in the beginning. I use oils to help with pain, sleep and nausea.
Joy oil is my perfume. 10 drops in a spray bottle the rest distilled water and that's my homemade body spray. It helps with depression and anxiety.
I would get whatever essential oils you thing you’ll need then just buy a cheaper diffuser off amazon or something! Mines from amazon and works great!💝

I have incorporated doterra oils in my life. and make my own products and cleaners. Another natural aspect you could try is reiki.

Sorry to be negative!
DO NOT INJEST ESSENTIAL OILS!!!! It can kill you.

They are a pyramid scheme, awful to support!
I love you outfit. I use dragons blood to keep me from being sick. I’m addicted to that show on TH-cam.
I'm a big believer for essential oils and I use Young Living. I'm not into the "business" side of YL but I enjoy their oils and how they work!
Jessica Braunscheidel Young Living is a truly awful company. Please do some research before giving them your money!
I know this has been written a million times in the comments by now... but please be careful with the essential oils rabbit hole! Idk about Australia, but where I am most companies pushing them are set up like MLM schemes. Not saying don’t try oils at all, but I’d recommend proceeding with caution.

I’d love a video about the Essential Oils.
I make beard oil and I use essential oils in them. They can be amazing :)
I use Doterra essential oils. I never knew young living is in Australia! I will have to go check out what they have :)

I have found DoTERRA a much better quality than Young Living.
First comment and like
Doterra!!! No young living!!!!
Get diffuser- costco/wish/ Amazon. and if you want me to send you some please let me know
Young living has lots of things: toothpaste, hair products, cleaning supplies (I recommend Thieves for almost everything), makeup, "medicinal" like things, oils, and more!
If you try to fail but you succeed, then you failed at failing because you succeeded. FAIL.
