Klay discussed his coveted Harlem Globetrotters basketball, headband superstitions, his favorite off-court hobbies, and his passion for cruising around the Bay Area in his boat dubbed the "Nordic Knife". Klay has a chip on his shoulder after an All-NBA Team snub and believes he still has something to prove in his long-awaited return to the court. Klay has to have a sitcom after he retires, never will there be a more entertaining all time shooter. All time warrior!
He's "got some things in the works". I agree with you. Klay has an amazing personality, and I have to admit I missed it until his injury. Typically after games he always seemed subdued, even a bit colorless, but I now think that was rather a function of him being "in the zone" with his game face on, etc. When forced to be off the court for two years, his personality really shines through. He has a subtle and wry humor and he just has a natural and easy-going charm that I really like. I'm totally on board with watching/reading whatever he has "in the works".

It’s rare to hear Klay talks extensively. No ego, very intellectual and certainly appreciate life in a greater sense! I wasn’t ever a Splash Bros fan or even a GSW fan, but I’ve grown to like Klay as a dominate player. He deserved to be on the 75 list.

I agree with the consensus that Kerith Burke is a wonderful interviewer. It's clear that she's very well prepared and knows what she wants to talk about. Of course it doesn't hurt to have a subject as interesting and articulate as Klay.

Gme 6 klay like “kill bill” mode. Now he just needs to learn to temper is energy, and play the long game. Your mind thinks you can go 100% all the time like you’re 23. But your body is going on 32 and recovering, it needs to be nurtured. Save the kill bill energy for the conference finals.

Klay is a bucket guy
If klay doesn’t get hurt. I think the last two years he could have been right up there with Steph on all time threes. Maybe even surpass him career wise if he didn’t get hurt.
Klay has never averaged more 3's in a season then Steph, so he couldn't have surpassed him... and over their careers, Steph will have missed more games then Klay...
Steph's way ahead. Klay gonna be second all time even with 2 and half years off from injury. Gonna be a nice gap from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 on all time list of 3s. Steph. Ya man i was hyped for the last season, but it just hurt that klay wasn't there
After 2 bone surgeries on my left ankle, tearing of ligaments, and tendons in my right. After rehab and getting back, the hardest thing was mental. My mind wouldn't let me go 100% because of fear. I hope you don't let fear slow you down. Easier said than done. I've been saying it for years now. "If anyone can, Klay can" . Favorite saying is Klay will make you pay, so make them pay Klay. Make them pay.

I was not a big fan of Kerith when she first arrived, but she nailed both this interview and the one with Andre Igoudala. She is present and engaging... really delightful in this role. Warrior fans are truly blessed by having had Steph, Klay and Draymond all these years. A couple more championships would be wonderful! And a tip of the hat to owners who have been willing to spend BIG bucks to keep this team together. I hope they make a bundle.
