California Super Bloom | Best Places to See Spring Wildflowers

In every Spring California's hills explode in vibrant wildflowers. During the super bloom many wildflowers have sprouted all at once, providing plenty of beautiful photo opportunities throughout the Golden State. Types of flowers you see in different places include:
California poppy
Lupine
Fiddlenecks
Blue dicks
Western blue-eyed grass
Best places in Southern California to see the 2023 super bloom
1. In Carrizo Plain - Carrizo Plain National Monument, Soda Lake, Soda Lake road South, Painted Rock, Corner of Highway 58 and Seven Mile Road, Simmler Road and Hurricane Road Scenic Overlook
2. Antelope Valley near Lancaster CA, 110th St West across Lancaster Road and on Hwy 138 closer to 130th street West and120th street
We visited both places during the last week of April, 2023.
