this album was created during quarantine. it is the first of two pandemic albums, the other one being evermore. in this album the people she’s singing about are fictional characters she created. that’s what she talks about when introducing “betty” which is the second song of the set. (i believe you were talking during that part which could be why you might’ve missed it) the teenage love triangle is about the three fictional characters that the album revolves around. they’re names are James, Betty, and August. thats who all the drama is about in the album. also, just wanted to add that not every song on folklore is about the fictional teenage love triangle, some of them are about other things, like the ones you’ve already reacted to. the ones you’ve reacted to are from long pond studios. she also only gets about 2 or less minutes to change in between sets. it is sped up a bit for the movie, but not by much. hope this helps :)
