ive been using the same 1 lightsworn deck for quite a few years now its the only full deck i got and i bought 3 copies of the lightsworn structure deck to make mine on my Birthday on may 18th of that year ! i just recently got back into playing and wanting to collect again and this video showed me a few cards my deck is needing to help finish it up ! been really fun getting back into the card game with a buddy of mine he has some home made exodia hybrid type mess and we been having loads of fun here lately !
It took me awhile to finally play them but lightsworns has been one of my favorite archetypes lately, thanks for the profile, always interested to see your takes on deck lists, my group plays a very relaxed non meta climate so I get to run alot of unnecessary stuff and miss timing with lightsworn sabre alot, somewhere along the line I got lost in my maniacal synchro spam/field nuke heavy meme strategy and completely forgot about pot of avarice😅, with any luck your reminder will help prevent anymore panic pops on my own Michael's to keep my gremlin friends from letting me deck myself out. For anyone else playing in a similar long match focused format I suggest messing around with a few copies of one of my favorite cards breakthrough skill! It works really well with the deck and can act as an in graveyard effect negation if you mill it and an on field one into another one in grave if you don't. Thanks for keeping up the content, you've always been my source for deck information as you're the only TH-camr who presents them in a way that actually helps me learn the archetypes strategies well and not just what cards people use.
Hey! I love that build! If it's not to luch trouble i have 2 questions, Why is there no naturio beast and jd synchro monster in the extra deck? Just curious :-) naturia beast helps conteol and mills at the same time, and i know jd synchro is a far cry from og jd but you never have to draw him. I have a casual playgroup with our own format and due to budget reasons pot of greed is at 3 here along with other rules, would you chnage 3 cards here for pot of greed and wich ones? :-) Have a nice day!
@@TonberryMishima no, JD is sent to the grave, since it states it can’t be normal summoned/set and reasoning says “until you excavate a monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set,” only way to summon JD by its own effect is if it was in your hand
@@TonberryMishima reasoning doesnt work like that. Judgment dragon says it can Only be special summoned (from the hand) by having 4+ lightsworn monsters with different names in your gy. Which means you cannot special summon it with anything other than his own effect (summoning condition) Also his summon isnt an activated effect (it doesnt start a chain)
Lightsworn is the master race. Truly the only archetype that comes in and out of the meta over and over again while always having one of the most used graveyard engines in the game. Side note I only run 2 Felic and run 2 Minerva with 1 Lyla. I play a 2 JD engine instead of 3.
Why don't they just let us have Grass? Drawing it 3/60 is still insanely inconsistent and what are Lightsworns going to do that way more consistent modern decks don't?
@@wesleyprewittmartinez1568 light dragon @ignister, great for protecting only your cards and lightsorns swarm the field anyway so either way it's great field presence regardless if you have a judgement dragon or not

Love Lightsworns. I miss the DUSA Ultra Rare; it looks so good. Most of all I miss Fairy Tail Snow + Eclipse Wyvern.

10:08 JD can’t be normal summoned or set, so if they call 8 and hit JD it does nothing, you just keep going until you hit another monster.
what if they call 8 and there is 4 different lightsworns in grave can you summon jd with reasoning from there or nah?

I suggest Seyfert , he can add judgment with his gy effect from the GY !
Thoughts on lightsworn shaddolls. Sending any light monster with the spell way too good to ignore, milling the new shaddoll trap is also good.

Light dragon @ignisters also a great option, essentially making judgement dragons effect a nuke to only your opponents field.
I thought I was the only one who added that tech in my deck...nice to see others found that synergy
