  • Shanghai Au Go-Go were an 80's electronic band from Melbourne. Although very little footage of the band exists, this is a recent video compilation of live and TV performances from 1984 and 1985 plus some promotional video from 1989.

Really nice to see. I played a few times with you guys mainly at Riverside Inn as well. I think. I was in Defenestration at the time.

Shadow Mullus I remember your band well! Yes, there were many shows at the Riverside. All good if I remember rightly.

    Wow Eddie,
Finally got a decent copy of this song.
Any chance of putting Gadget Love on TH-cam?
My band supported you in the 80's - ( The Enclosure )
at The Riverside Inn (Richmond) and East Brunswick Club.
    Regards John from Port Melbourne

Thanks John - I remember you and the band well! I only have a live recording of Gadget Love, but I will see what I can do. All the best.
