A Windy Wild Camp Experiencing A Breathtaking Sunset (4K)

- Join me this week where I take my oppo from work on his first wild camp in the stunning Northumberland hills of the Cheviots. Although persistent winds from the west lasted the whole night it didn't take the shine away from the glorious sunset we witnessed and with a beer in hand we watched the sun fade before turning in for the night. The morning was just as good waking up to stunning light hitting the south eastern slopes of the surrounding hills. A great first wild camp for Bobby and suspect it won't be the last.

What an amazing setting sun that was and really lit up the who sky, right on your own doorstep as well, even better. Not a fan of black pudding but if you like it, you would have loved that outdoors on a windy night. To get two days like that back to back in February as quite an achievement, great camp, cheers Alan
Cheers Alan you’re totally right I said the same to Bobby it’s not often you’re blessed with a sunset and sunrise certainly in feb lol. You don’t like black pudding???? I’m shocked 😮 lol one of the finer things in life 😜. Nah it’s not everyone’s cuppa but for me some fine comfort food on a hill. Spot on that Steve 👍, the cheviots are great, not too far for us northerners, loads of places to pitch a tent, and some great views, the colours in the sky on that sunset looked epic mate 👌, and the views from the drone looking down on your tents👍, look forward to the next one mate, atb Mick 👍

That’s the one bang for buck on this hill is tremendous I might just head up there with a day pack and just continue walking and see where I end up. Looks some stunning hills surrounding it. Cheers mate and hope all is well. How did the hot and cold therapy go? ATB Steve
@@outdoorslifestyle2900 I’ve camped every hill up that route and never gets old. Yeah the cold water stuff was excellent no video of it however. Let’s get back out soon 👍
@@thegeordiewildcamper that’s the plan as I bet there’s some right gems in that area and almost clear views west to enjoy the longest sunset we can experience on the east coast 🙌🏼. Tbh mate it looked class nothing beats that feeling of being in cold water but never tried the hot straight afterwards. Definitely I’m out more this year so let’s get something sorted 👌🏼
