Re-watching from New York. Looks like so much fun. The flags were so neat. Something to see for sure. I've never seen a tug of war on any of the cruises I've been on. I guess it's time to explore other cruise lines. I don't think any of the fun things are offered on Norwegian. I love the hot tubs. There usually so overcrowded you can't stay in them long. As always I enjoyed the video and will be watching for the next one!

In general this cruise just felt like the guests were more integrated into the whole process. We had more personal interactions with the crew that were not all about their work than on any other cruise. It seemed like on this particular ship the crew were encouraged to be a little more light hearted and connect with the guests. Those walls were broken down a bit by the flag parade, the tug of war, the dancing in the main dining room. Very much an "all in it together" feel that we've never experienced on any other ship!

I was just on Mariner on Seas on the Caribbean night I had jerk pork. mMywas cook just right it was taught at all. My waiter told me it might be spicy but I didn't find it that spicy I don't have the best spice tolerance but I can do some heat but I was expecting it to be hotter. The sides were amazing love the plantains and the dumpling thing of all the meals I have at the main dining the jerk pork meal was best especially the side. Honestly, if I do the Royal Caribbean again they have the Caribbean night I am 100% doing the jerk pork again. Thou you saying pork was little taught worry me will bit I mean not ship cook the same and when you cooking for very large number people the consistency isn't going be perfect. Thou my first night at the main dining room I ordered the prime rib and asked for medium well when I normally order beef, I don't need my steak to be bloody but I don't need them to be completely dry, and dead I do want some pink to them. Well, the prime rib was cooked very well Done, a bit too much for me. So the other night I got steak like the Mexican when I got carne asada and the Italian night when I ordered the New York steak I just ordered medium they came out good probably from now on no matter where I go I just going to order medium. Yeah only the first night with prime rib that I had a problem with the meat being a bit overdone, thou I say that my fault order med-well where my order was a bit too close to being done.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Always seems to be a bit of variability when ordering any sort of steak/chop. We experienced the same. Our table mates had to send one of their steaks back in the main dining room because it was cooked way too far beyond what they requested, while ours were correct. Hate to be wasteful but there is no shortage of food on the ship and the Crew are always the first to tell you to let them know if anything isn't as you ordered.
