its ingredible what 3d modeling can make!

Is this formulation valid for industrial use? Does it have proper mathematics behind it? Because I saw that frigate, how accurately does it depict real life flow?

This is not valid for any industrial use, and it depicts real life very poorly. This methods are used mostly for CGI and the VFX industry. You should be looking at other software for what you want

@@diogoferreira6589 The main advantage of something like this is performance. Its thousands of times faster than a 100% realistic simulation while still producing at least photo realistic effects. Smaller scale versions can run in real time, and the effect can be used in video games and movies to great effect.

It is, it is used for high deformation models, star collisions, some particle modelling for the aggro industry. The model is called sph, there is not too much info about it online. It does have proper mathematics, it uses the lagrangian form of navier stokes equations.

i can do these in realtime in Nvidia Flex :3 .. at any rate i would love to do these in blender

do you even know what Nvidia Flex is .. its exactly like this running in real time and the results are very accurate .. in blender i could utilize this in very interesting ways and make some interesting exparaments ... i just wish i knew where the plug in was found

it takes 6 seconds to compute a frame, most games like that are 60 frames a second, it would take 6 minutes to generate one second.

Using a ball to show the interaction with fluid as density increases is not that interesting... Try to replace it with a cube :)
