Hey guys, in case you didn't already have the idea, these videos were recorded before my brother Mark's passing so I had quite the happy attitude for these videos. I just wanted to say thank you for all the love and support. I've probably received over a few hundred DMs, emails, and comments from ya'll, telling me how many of you would be willing to chat if I needed someone to chat to. You guys are way too kind and way too caring for people I've never met :') I'll probably talk about my brother in my next video. I have a pretty cool idea for it :) For anyone who doesn't know, my brother mark was diagnosed with SMARC-B1 cancer about 18 months ago and finally is at rest as of a few days ago. Right, like since I have no friends that play tarkov, I’m a solo and I’m scared to use any decent gun Bc I think I’ll die with it. So then I mostly go on scab runs and then end up having a Stash full of gear that I’m never gonna use😂😭
@@virtualpotato1555 Well a gun does you no good in your stash and running your decent stuff might give you a better chance of extracting. If you lose it than oh well. You're back to where you are now with not using it. Or you could just sell it for the money. But just leaving it sit there in you're inventory is kind of pointless. You might as well not even have the gun at that point. So why not bring it and at least use it for 1 raid worst case scenario? Besides a lot of guns that are your "good ones" as a low level player won't even be worth looting to a guy with a meta M4/AK and level 5-6 rig. He probably has high value loot and is looking ot kill similarly geard pmcs with weapons worth way more than what you bring. So you can get MP5s, Stock AKs, SKS's, ADARs, Vepors, ect back on insurance more than you'd think. Also maybe consider if doing scav runs has given you a stash full of gear, you'll probably extract as your PMC at a pretty decent rate too. Particularity if you bring your good weapons and armor which makes you way more competitive than 99% of scav load outs.

@@CMike_ For good money run/loot map ? Reserve (and Interchange to) look the best for me, go look some guide for the map and it's easy money run. Customs is a good PVP map, but not very good for money run.
The trick is to not actually keep "everything" in your stash. Keep things that you use, that you are proficient with and that you need for barters with the traders, or in your hideout. Sell the rest. Took me a while to learn but I was just keeping guns for the sake of keeping them, "I'll use them one day" but I never did.
The only stuff worth keeping is quest guns and attachments and the collector items. That and stuff you need to hand in like broken 6A armor for Ragmans quest, pilgrim backpack, stuff like that. Maybe a kitted gun or two. Also, make sure you keep some attachment rich parts. A great way to store all your foregrips reflex sights and tactical attachments is AKSU gas tubes with an added X type gas tube protector that lets you place like 7 slots worth of attachments on it. Goliath gas tube protector is also great for that same use. Also, obviously rigs, backpacks, blackjack bags stacked = endless stash for 1 slot width items but has a pretty high cost. Beta bags are great for that same reason. Nowadays you have stash craft for blackrock rigs and pilgrims so that's 2 less items to keep in stash for quests.

That first alarm at 22:12 was actually the alarm in Avokado. Its an indicator that the power was turned on. Thats also the alarm sound for other stores metal detectors. Kiba has the louder alarm tones

I like this video idea. Very real, and I was honestly just searching for some raw gameplay. (Rant warning): I also love this channel. Lots of gaming channels are either real monotone and extremely serious for gaming, or over the top and screaming at the top of their lungs at any footstep. Here I’m seeing gameplay that is focused, but also fun. Also, Drewski is very communicative with his viewers, even about personal things, which makes me feel so much more connected with everything going on here. This is one of those comfy/fun zone channels. Edit: and I’m just about to buy this really awesome looking game, and I also come here to know what I’m getting into.
Same here. Regardless of how well i seem to be doing with my pmc 99% of the time someone comes from nowhere geared up and and i proceed to just be mowed down. I can tell I'm making progress but damn is it rough starting this game so late into a wipe.

I'm ok with having a weight system. I havent been playing enough to be sure but given the general feedback it may still need some adjustments, but I like that you cant just stack like 7 backpacks full of loot anymore and you have to be more careful about what you take and what you dont edit: I just read your comment, Im so sorry about your brother. just like your one-life Ironman Stalker series, i am loving these "real raids" - because yes there is natural suspense, but its also just more interesting to see a random raid from start to end, instead of those specific ones like "SVDS on woods" (dont get me wrong i really love those as well, there is just something special about this)

They should fix thermals since irl they can't see through glass. 14:38 - Right as he shoots him you clearly see the top and bottom half of him, even though the bottom is looking through the glass on the escalator railing. The thermal should just show the top half and the bottom being blocked by the glass at background temp.
Here's my opinion on the weight system. In it's current state, it is a fine addition, it prevents one player from looting an entire map and just running out like they're carrying nothing. It makes you put more thought into what you take and what you bring into the raid.
this exactly, everyone that doesnt like keeps throwing out its punishing but a better work is making it risky he even said in his video if you win and gather up as much as you can carry you have to take it slow which is what the devs wanted slower game play
I just found out about this game a day ago and the more I look into it the more excitement I feel. This game looks incredible. I'll be grabbing this for sure. Now its time to share with the boys because this looks great!
@@juku6901 Before you buy if you know someone who has it try it out. Play as a scav so you don't loose your buddy's loot. I would definitely recommend but I do know it's not for everyone.
A realism nerf that would be very powerful, is making the IR optics no longer see through glass. IRL, some very advanced IR cameras can somewhat see through glass, especially auto glass, but IR scopes and goggles absolutely cannot. That would be a gamechanger in places like Interchange. Count how many times he looks through glass with the scope, and even shoots through and gets kills.
Great video! I love the cuts to other clips, a lot of people don’t like to do that because it sucks to find and edit. Sucks to hear about what happened to your brother, I express my condolences.
This new patch makes extracting on Interchange terrifying. Just waddling into extract campers. They're terrible players usually, but with this crazy debuff they've gotten me once or twice.
Tarkov sound needs a serious fix. I have had several times that I watched a person sprint in front of me yet I can't hear them. no clue why it's still an issue 3 years later
What real tarkov is like..... (Places entire 30Rnd 7.62x39mm into the spinal cord of a naked armorless scav and watches him run around the corner) {Proceeds to get blasted by a scav with 9x18 in two shots whilst I am wearing lvl5 armor from head to toe lol.
Every tarkov raid is flanking somebody, dumping a mag into them, and them flicking up through all the aimpunch to one shot head,eyes me 2/3 of the way through the mag. 90% of fights, I spot and hit the other guy first. I win fewer than 2% of fights against other players. It is the most sus game I've ever played and I have literally dozens of clips of the one shot head,eyes flicks on me while I am completely owning somebody. My favorite clip is against a duo. I put an entire mag of p90 meta ammo into a guy and he runs away. His teammate comes around the other side and I dump a mag at him, but only connect for half of the rounds and the last bullet hits his head and he flops. Then the first guy comes back and I put two bursts into his face, splattering the wall behind him with blood and he finally spots me and head,eyes me in one shot. Reviewing the shadowplay, the first guy takes 59 hits total, 6 headshots, lives. 28 on the second, one nape hit for a kill. Afteraction report says "35 hits". Uninstall. Such an outstandingly bad game and as I said I have dozens of vids to prove it because I'm not a ping abusing streamer.
I would honestly enjoy more this kind of stuff rather than full OP insane plays for this game. It was educational, fun to watch and even a bit soothing to see that pros die too. Helps me build up my confidence. Good one!
I actually like the new changes in Tarkov. The new weight system adds a bit of risk/reward to the system. Yeah, you killed 3 dudes and a couple of scavs and looted them but now you've gotta hump their crap to an extraction point at reduced speed. See some T H I C C bois moving slow? Kill 'em for the drip and become thicc yourself. It's nice, IMO, but I have a slight gambling problem when it comes to gaming.
Actually love the raw gameplay for a change, most of your videos are running high tier loadouts and really dominating which is cool, but this is really interesting and fun to watch! Sorry to hear of your brother!
The weight changes are just like in real life now. Carrying roughly 30-40KG of combat gear is a lot - even for super-buff PMCs. The game allows you to even on top of that haul 25-30KG in your backpack. I agree the realism goes a bit to far at this point, but it also introduces this new really hard challenge of going in basically empty and trying to haul as much shit out of a raid, as one can.

I think the operator underestimates the weight of 6 guns and 2 plate carriers with a bunch of mags and ammo. be as buff as you want thats a load. Edit: Id like to see it evolve though with experience. I agree that games are games but play arcades. Us poor people would kill for one item case. Its like listening to Jeff Bezos complain about taxes hearing you complain about less loot.
Outside of the "Its a video game" People in these situations are trained to carry a fuckton of weight for a long period of time. Also, If looting like this was your life, you'd end up being more resilient for it than even common day military could get you.

7:00 Just so no one gets misinformed, a 74U has pretty much the same stats as a 74M, modded or not. A 74N/M/etc. with a butt pad doesn't have the same stats as a 74U with a grip and Klassika 3. The only difference is it trades barrel length for muzzle velocity.

First sorry for your loss (though I know I am late to the group on it but still wish to give you my condolences). Now to the things mentioned in the video about the weight issue. I have to agree with you I feel like the overweight thing may be a bit over the top at times. Because you are right that it feels like it punishes more the people that are good at the game and are able to get the better gear. Also on your comment about the PMC's being stronger than your average person that is also a good point. Mythbusters even made a test on that using Doom as it's idea on if you would actually be able to carry everything you picked up. It was pretty cool though because it is true that the average untrained person would struggle to carry all the weapons and gear Doomguy picks up and then they had a military trained person do the same test and he could carry the stuff a lot easier. So yeah it doesn't make sense that your PMC wouldn't be able to do the same. Anyway awesome video showing more of the solo play style :D

Same here. Regardless of how well i seem to be doing with my pmc 99% of the time someone comes from nowhere geared up and and i proceed to just be mowed down. I can tell I'm making progress but damn is it rough starting this game so late into a wipe.

I hope you can recall the experiences you guys had together more easily than the grief of his loss, and I'll be keeping you in my thoughts. My condolences to you and your brother's loved ones.
I'm ok with having a weight system. I havent been playing enough to be sure but given the general feedback it may still need some adjustments, but I like that you cant just stack like 7 backpacks full of loot anymore and you have to be more careful about what you take and what you dont

My raids are like this: Play offline trying to get the courage to do an actual raid. Goes offline afterwards and gains nothing.

just like your one-life Ironman Stalker series, i am loving these "real raids" - because yes there is natural suspense, but its also just more interesting to see a random raid from start to end, instead of those specific ones like "SVDS on woods" (dont get me wrong i really love those as well, there is just something special about this)

14:38 - Right as he shoots him you clearly see the top and bottom half of him, even though the bottom is looking through the glass on the escalator railing. The thermal should just show the top half and the bottom being blocked by the glass at background temp.
Here's my opinion on the weight system.
In it's current state, it is a fine addition, it prevents one player from looting an entire map and just running out like they're carrying nothing.
It makes you put more thought into what you take and what you bring into the raid.
this exactly, everyone that doesnt like keeps throwing out its punishing but a better work is making it risky he even said in his video if you win and gather up as much as you can carry you have to take it slow which is what the devs wanted slower game play

@@juku6901 Before you buy if you know someone who has it try it out. Play as a scav so you don't loose your buddy's loot. I would definitely recommend but I do know it's not for everyone.

A realism nerf that would be very powerful, is making the IR optics no longer see through glass. IRL, some very advanced IR cameras can somewhat see through glass, especially auto glass, but IR scopes and goggles absolutely cannot. That would be a gamechanger in places like Interchange. Count how many times he looks through glass with the scope, and even shoots through and gets kills.

This new patch makes extracting on Interchange terrifying. Just waddling into extract campers. They're terrible players usually, but with this crazy debuff they've gotten me once or twice.

Every tarkov raid is flanking somebody, dumping a mag into them, and them flicking up through all the aimpunch to one shot head,eyes me 2/3 of the way through the mag. 90% of fights, I spot and hit the other guy first. I win fewer than 2% of fights against other players. It is the most sus game I've ever played and I have literally dozens of clips of the one shot head,eyes flicks on me while I am completely owning somebody.
My favorite clip is against a duo. I put an entire mag of p90 meta ammo into a guy and he runs away. His teammate comes around the other side and I dump a mag at him, but only connect for half of the rounds and the last bullet hits his head and he flops. Then the first guy comes back and I put two bursts into his face, splattering the wall behind him with blood and he finally spots me and head,eyes me in one shot. Reviewing the shadowplay, the first guy takes 59 hits total, 6 headshots, lives. 28 on the second, one nape hit for a kill. Afteraction report says "35 hits".
Uninstall. Such an outstandingly bad game and as I said I have dozens of vids to prove it because I'm not a ping abusing streamer.

I would honestly enjoy more this kind of stuff rather than full OP insane plays for this game. It was educational, fun to watch and even a bit soothing to see that pros die too. Helps me build up my confidence. Good one!
I actually like the new changes in Tarkov. The new weight system adds a bit of risk/reward to the system. Yeah, you killed 3 dudes and a couple of scavs and looted them but now you've gotta hump their crap to an extraction point at reduced speed. See some T H I C C bois moving slow? Kill 'em for the drip and become thicc yourself. It's nice, IMO, but I have a slight gambling problem when it comes to gaming.
Totally agree, it also helps with the greed a bit, and maybe that'll help the chads manage their rage and think before taking every fight

Actually love the raw gameplay for a change, most of your videos are running high tier loadouts and really dominating which is cool, but this is really interesting and fun to watch!

The weight changes are just like in real life now. Carrying roughly 30-40KG of combat gear is a lot - even for super-buff PMCs. The game allows you to even on top of that haul 25-30KG in your backpack. I agree the realism goes a bit to far at this point, but it also introduces this new really hard challenge of going in basically empty and trying to haul as much shit out of a raid, as one can.
But now going in geared is pointless. Unless you hide your own stuff

I think the operator underestimates the weight of 6 guns and 2 plate carriers with a bunch of mags and ammo. be as buff as you want thats a load. Edit: Id like to see it evolve though with experience. I agree that games are games but play arcades. Us poor people would kill for one item case. Its like listening to Jeff Bezos complain about taxes hearing you complain about less loot.

Outside of the "Its a video game" People in these situations are trained to carry a fuckton of weight for a long period of time. Also, If looting like this was your life, you'd end up being more resilient for it than even common day military could get you.

7:00 Just so no one gets misinformed, a 74U has pretty much the same stats as a 74M, modded or not. A 74N/M/etc. with a butt pad doesn't have the same stats as a 74U with a grip and Klassika 3. The only difference is it trades barrel length for muzzle velocity.

First sorry for your loss (though I know I am late to the group on it but still wish to give you my condolences). Now to the things mentioned in the video about the weight issue. I have to agree with you I feel like the overweight thing may be a bit over the top at times. Because you are right that it feels like it punishes more the people that are good at the game and are able to get the better gear. Also on your comment about the PMC's being stronger than your average person that is also a good point. Mythbusters even made a test on that using Doom as it's idea on if you would actually be able to carry everything you picked up.
It was pretty cool though because it is true that the average untrained person would struggle to carry all the weapons and gear Doomguy picks up and then they had a military trained person do the same test and he could carry the stuff a lot easier. So yeah it doesn't make sense that your PMC wouldn't be able to do the same.

I dominated dorms with a pp19 no vest or helm and had PSO ammo. All you need is a good low end gun like the pp19 and youll turn from hungry rat to glistening chad in no time.
