Have to agree with Peter Johnson. I've seen this done a lot by people on the other side of the atlantic ocean. The idea with the hairwinged scandifly is to make the silhuett look like a fish (seen from underneath). Mikael Frödin often speaks about this, the drop form. To create the correct form on the wing you have got to taper the wing. One way to do it would be making the first wing as long as 50% of the total length of the fly, a thinner second wing 75% of total length, then the long part of the wing 100% and last if you want to make the form better have a small wing about as long as the first wing on top (preferably only underhair). Just an advice from a Swede who loves flytying and -fishing. I´ve been tying intruder style flies quite a lot last two years and i'm sure I make some mistakes with your patterns ^^
